Keeps calling my cell phone but does not leave a message

Recording asks for me.  Leaves message to call 1-888-745-9332.

Who is this number?  They keep calling for me too.  I'm waiting for a payment from AIG and they claim they've called me...

Could this number be related to them?

I called and got a voicemail for "Stacy" and it puts me on hold while the phone goes "BEEP BEEP" FOREVER!!!!!

Calls repeatedly. At least once a day. automated recording asks for some one who doesn't live at my address.

Automated recording calls frequently asking for Emerick. No idea who this is.
No way to conveniently tell them that this person is not here.
No answer on the 888-745-9332 number. Carlos put me on hold when I called the 425-354-9332 number. When he got back to me he was courteous and removed our number from the computer database.

Numerous calls over the last month or so. No messages are ever left. Looking through the other posts here, I called 888-745-9332. A nice lady took my number and asked me if I know a James Young. When I told her no, she removed me from their call list.

Two calls from 425-354-1563.  Two calls from 425-984-6247.  Who are these people and why do they have my cell phone number?!

I keep getting calls from this number for someone that lived at my address before I moved to this address in Sept. of 1994.  I do not know how they got this phone #.

425-354-1563 leads to a receivables/collections company in Washington.  I had some free time so I played along twice now.  After hearing my name, I folowed the prompts.  The first call was a young sounding female who proceeded to verify some of my personal info.  She then explained that she was collecting on an AT&T account I have.  After explaining that I don't have AT&T, she then wouldn't let me get a word in.  She insisted that it was mine because she verified my info.  I told her to send me the proof of the account since I have had the same landline and cell phone carriers for over 13 years.  She claimed this account was from 2003.  Since she wouldn't let me speak, I ended up firmly stating that it wasn't my account and that until they showed proof that it was, I wasn't paying.  I then hung up.

The next call was the similar intro.  Once the female rep finally answered, she just verified my name.  After that, she launched into a non-stop rant about how they already verified my info so I need to pay the bill.  This is when she got rude and unprofessional.  She said they sent frequent notices and that if I would read my mail, I would have seen them.  That's when I asked for a supervisor.  She transferred me over to some guy.  He started into a speech about how according to the FCSA, they have sent their collections notices as required so now I have to pay.  I calmly tried to explain that it wasn't mine and that I would like some proof.  He was worse then the female.  He would continue to talk everytime I made an attempt to explain.  I finally asked him if he had a problem with courtesy and respect.  He said "no", but that I must because I wouldn't listen to them.  At that point I firmly told him that when they found some respect and proof that this was my account, they could call me back.  I expect another call tomorrow.  Looking back on the caller ID, they have used two numbers.  425-354-1563 (Listed as "Unknown Name" on 8/21 and "Receivables Pe" on 8/19) and 425-686-1416 listed as "receivablespe" on 8/03.  I am calling my TRUE phone carrier and placing those two numbers on a block.  I am also checking my credit report to see if there is any damage there.

They keep calling my number looking for a guy who had the number over 7 years ago.  If I can find out the name of their company, I am reporting it to the state attorney general's office.

These people are cowards! They also use to display the same number where the name should go on the ID. If they were reputable and legitimate they would not try to hide their identities. Cowards, that is what they are!!!

Pretty similar story.  When I told them my number, they asked if I was best auto towing and repair.  The said they'd remove my name from their call list within 24 hrs.  We'll see if that's true.  This is the curse of computer driven call centers!

keeps calling my home asking for someone who NEVER lived at my house!  this has been going on for YEARS. finally got through and the man that i spoke with said that they will update their system, yeah right!!!!!

These guys keep calling for someone I don't know.  I kept choosing the 'is not here' option, but finally got tired of it and hit the option that I was that person.  A woman eventually came on the line and asked for the person I don't know.  I told her that she had the wrong number and she started yelling at me.  She repeatedly called me a liar and told me that I need to get this random person on the phone right now.

So... I politely asked, "Do you have a supervisor I can speak to?".  She replies, "DO YOU?!  How about a parent?  You better give the phone to your mother or father right now!"...  I'm 31...  I tried to explain, but she just aggressively cut me off every other word with more insults.

She said she was putting a note on the account that she spoke to a child who wouldn't give the phone to his parents and hung up on me.

Same thing has been happening to me. I get calls from this number but no message.

Have received calls for over a month from this company (Receivables Pe) asking for a name I do not understand and asking to hit "1" if I am that person.  Since this is always left on our message machine have not had the "pleasure" of finding out what this is about.  Based on information I have read on a couple of other sites sounds like these people are in the business of practicing rudeness.  We did receive a collection letter from a law firm a few months back regarding someone else's debt - similar name, but not the same.  They said they were straightening that error and our credit reports show no problems.

When I finally got a person and told them to stop calling me 10 times a day for some guy named gabrille that it was not his number she said she didn't need details and that I was rude! Then SHE hung up on ME!(Mind you they start calling me @ 6:00AM!)
