- DMLAwaken from sleep at 1:35 a.m. from this phone number. I knew it was a scam because I don't have an HSBC Mastercard. They said the card was locked for security reasons, and I should press 1 to unlock it. I simply hung up the phone, but now annoyed by their stupidity.
- From Detroit Living in NYCReceived call and voicemail at 539am stating that my HSBC account was on hold for security reasons. My Best Buy card, which is the only HSBC account I have, is in my possession. The caller must be a "scam artist" and I am treating it as so.
- Caller: Unofficially or unconfirmed HSBC

- Shake my head....I got that call this morning...I do have an HSBC card but I kinda ignored it and hung up and said to myself, I'll call HSBC later about it.
While I'm on the phone with them, they said nothing is wrong with my account. SO HSBC puts me on hold so the lady can ask her supervisor about it. While I am waiting, I google the number and found this page. Good thing I paid no mind to that call...
