caller called to inform me I won a trip to Las Vegas or Seaside.  This is a resort sales pitch.

Received call on cell phone late 9 pm saying I won trip to seaside weird ... two people with sales pitch attitudes.  weird

same thing. called about a won trip through an entree that i had "entered".

just a message from this number telling me I won something fantastic. it is a cell phone number that no one has business knowing unless I give it to them, and I certainly didn't give out this number for something like this.

got a call from this number trying to look for a Lou then tried giving the trip to me.. they just randomly punching numbers?! this  was my cell phone and almost no one knows it....

Called my cell several times but I don't answer calls unless I recognize the person calling. I rarely give out my cell number so I'm not sure where they got it from. Eventually they left a message saying that I had entered a contest and needed to call to claim my prize. I don't enter contests. After I signed up for home delivery of The Oregonian I started getting text messages about restaurants, dating services, etc. and now I'm getting telemarketing calls. Could be a coincidence or maybe in the fine print there was a disclaimer that my number would be shared.

Yup, got a call from this number saying I had won a trip to Vegas and needed to come pick up a package. Had generic info about me that could be picked up from any source. Told him he interupted my sleeping and he needed to call back at a reasonable time. I don't plan on answering the second call.

called @10:45pm with free trip to Las Vegas. I said no thanks and then found this site. Thank you.

No message, just the number on my cell's caller ID.

I didn't answer the call and they didn't leave a message, but I resent my cell phone number being sold or shared. I guess cell phones have to sign up for no-call lists now, too. Pain in the neck.

They called my number using the name of friend who lives in a foreign country. The caller would only identify themselves as "DMI" and hung up abruptly when I asked how they had obtained this private number.

scam about winning trip to vegas and that they got my info from a hotel we stayed in. caller claimed to be working for"DMI".

At no point does any employee of the company state to any guests or prospects that they have won anything.  We simply state that they may be eligible to receive a gift package and we go on to further explain the gift package.  Then the individual that is called is asked a few additional questions to ensure that they qualify to attend the presentation, which is what they must agree to in exchange for receiving the gift package.

If you are ever unhappy with a call, ask for a Manager and you will be treated courteously.  In addition, if you want to be added to the company's internal Do Not Call List, simply ask for that to transpire and it will - immediately.  Do not call and ask to be removed and just hang up - there is not currently a way for an employee to know the number you are calling from without you providing it.
