Telemarketing sales.  This is the next number being used as they robo dial across the country.

I called the number back and recording says if you are not interested in receiving any future promotional calls to press one to be removed from their call list.

Do not call them back! First, they do not care and will not remove you from their robocall list. Second, by calling them back, you let them know yours is a live number. Third, by calling back, you give them license to continue calling you at this number, since you called them, don't you see?

Called me, didn't leave a message.  Almost proof positive that it is a scam.

Second indication of scam is that the caller id is a city name.  I don't talk to "cities".

Good candidates for the black list.

This is a car warrenty sales call, your number is given to them from a satelite radio account.

I found it best to never call them back.  Even if you "press" a number to be removed from their call list it never happens.

You are correct in saying never call them back.  All it does is cause more phone calls to a person.

Not even a good quality voice prompt robo-chick.  Some voice prompt robots almost fool me, this one was clearly a vpr from the beginning.  Robo-chick called herself "Ellie".  Wanted info about my car for extended warranty scam.  I stayed silent and call disconnected.  Another nap, shot to h*+@ by these lowlife scam artists.

Automated call trying to sell car warranties.  Said they would  take me off the call list but did not want to talk about the no call list.  Not the first call I have recieved from them.  Next time I will get the company name.

You just acknowledged that your number is active. Prepare for a lot more robo calls and scams.

Showed up on CID as Washington Call.  Even if they wanted to they can't leave a message, I shut everything off now.  I can't stand all these calls anymore.

Didn't recognize number and didn't answer, no message left on answering machine. Strongly indicates a spam call. If it was genuine, they'd've left me a message to call them back.

This person called my house, but did not leave a message.
