Another "free security system" scam... to add insult to injury, recording leaves part of msg on my voice mail (so I hafta take the time to play/erase it).  Is ANYONE still falling for this??

robo message from 4254841885 call from 'Protection Services' to my home in 08080 claiming to give me a free security system and yard sign...when the live body came online I advised them 'this call was being recorded for legal purposes do you wish to continue?' to which they promptly denied and terminated my call.  That says it all.  Report these frauds to the feds

Called this morning while I was out, left no message. Caller ID has 4254841885 for the name of caller! I wouldn't have answered if I had been here, as I don't answer unknown callers. They need to do their homework if they're trying to sell me a home security system, as I live in a secure senior apartment building!

caller id says " credit card service " do not answer ! they just try to get personel information from you, telling you there is a problem with your credit card !!

It seems the card service scammers and the home security scammers have teamed up.If they can't cheat a person with the first scam, they're so dishonest they'll probably try the second scam on them during the same call! These are truly disgusting creatures, as they target mainly the elderly and the gullible.

Receiving several (4-8) calls per day, all them a no message hang-up calls. Frustrated enough to recommend some good citizen out there pay them a visit and exercise their Second Amendment Rights so that we may all benefit from our Fourth Amendment rights(i.e., Pursuit of Happiness)...or perhaps the FTC and other agencies may be better served by helping curb some of these practices, in the name of Domestic Tranquility.

you are correct. l always report to the federal trade commission, and they have the authority to apply the law in these crooks accordingly

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago.  The phone rang once before they dropped me.  No doubt they'll try again.  Thanks for the warning.  This is the first time I've heard about callers hawking bogus alarm systems.  Fortunately, I've had a security alarm system in my home for 22 years.

If you call back this number, you get an "opt out" recording.  Confirm the 425-484-2885 number and then provide the phone number it robo-called.

Supposedly, your number will go on an opt-out list that will take 72 hours to complete.

I don't know if it works....I just followed the verbal instructions on the message I got when I called back the number.

I just bought  new Panasonic phone that can block up to 250 numbers, including any that come in caller ID blocked with something like "Out of Area" or "private number." You can even set it to not ring at all when a blocked caller hits your line. LOVE this phone! Came with 5 handsets. Blocks almost 3 times as many calls as the Digitone call blocker for about the same money. Highly recommend.

Free Home Security System-----Why should I have to buy a new phone and then take the time to block robocalla---that was what the Do Not Call Registry was suppose to do.

So much for the do not call list. They are diving us nuts with the constant calls from dang marketers.

This is the third area code that they have called from for "Home Security". I have now blocked all three area codes.

Called at 10:35 AM. wanting to install a free Home Security System, answering machine picked up the call, female voice said to press 9 at end of conversation to be placed on the do not call list, what a joke, we are already on the do not call list but even that doesn't stop the telemarketers.

Received a call from 425-484-1885. Place on Do not Call list
