- Julie| 1 replyI answered this call and it was a computer talking about a security system. They asked me to press 1 for more details or 9 to be removed from the list. I did neither and hung up.

- AnnoyedWe have been getting calls from this number for weeks. If anyone knows how to make them stop calling please let everyone know. I am on the do not call list and still get the calls.
- Also annoyedI too live in NC and just received a call from this number on my cell. I too am on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY and have recently found that it can take up to 3 months for it to go into effect. Somehow this needs to STOP!!!!!! It's obviously computer driven and it seems that they are just running through numbers in NC!

- NC dude| 1 replyjust received from this number. I've been receiving numerous telemarketer calls from various in WA. they seem to be routing calls from Canada through a WA area call center. several companies have been from Canada. Maybe they have found a lopphole in the law.
- NCI received 3 calls in sequence from this number. This is annoying...
- AnnoyedinNC| 1 replyI have recieved several calls from this #, as has my husband. Both on our cell phones -- filing a complaint with the FCC at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm
Telemarketing calls on cell phones I believe are not allowed!- Call type: Telemarketer
- Gary replies to NC dudeYes, the loophole is that US does not have jouris diction over telemarketers dialing from foreign countries.... hence the reason "Sam or Suzie" have thick foreign accents.
DNC is just another of those laws that have had unintended consequences ......
in that it is a total failure at creating meaningful regulation of telemarketers and it sent jobs out of the US to foreign countries. - BohnerUGHHH They call a couple times a week. I don't answer. When I try to call the number, it hangs up within one second.
- spambuster| 1 replyThey called my direct line at my *law office* and left a message this Monday. The message was incomplete and unintelligible, but ended with the instructions to "press 9" to be taken of the list. (Riiiiiiight. Of course, I'd do that!)
I'd love to have answered the call personally. I would either have invited them to put their security sign in the lobby of the high-rise office building in which I work (which is well guarded and near both the police station and the county jail) or have told them that it sounded like they do not need an attorney in my practice area, but rather a criminal defense attorney, and to wait while I called one into my office!- Caller: Unknown
- StephenReceived an automated extortion call: Other houses in your area had been robbed. You had better purchase their security services. Press 1...

- FBI Washington, DC| 1 replyThey got you to do what they wanted you to do, and that is to look up the number on Google and post a comment on this site. This website will be down, the DNS will change hands, and within a few weeks another one will be up in its place calling you again. Do not respond to these calls or look them up, your just feeding the flames.

- Jim in NCI got a call while testing a child and shut itoff right away. If it happens again I will be very aggravated.
I want no calls to my sell phone except work, friends and family. I phoned back a few days later and hung up because of no ringing sound. - Oh No, Not *Again*!We just disconnected our landline phone about a week or so ago, partly because of all the telemarketers (seriously, they're practically the only calls we were receiving on there). And just earlier this evening, we got a recorded call from this number trying to sell us a home security system -- ON OUR CELL PHONE! O_o I won't say I have *no* idea how they got the number; but what's weird is, we have NEVER received a telemarketing call on mobile before, until now... Hardly anyone knows the number; and we seldom receive incoming calls, legit or otherwise.. Makes me wonder if AT&T sold or rented it to a "partnership" to recoup some of their revenue from us dropping their landline; because one of their techs had requested it as a "callback number" during a DSL connection support discussion. :\ Hmmm...
