Keep calling say this is Alex this is a recording I need to call them back it's important or I will be in trouble. I called the number not worried about being in trouble they say they are from the United States Treasury. After wanting my info like my name phone number I hung up on her.

Scam. Supposedly David Gray calling for 2nd time to warn of enforcement by US Treasury and appearance in front of Magistrate Judge or grand jury. Left message on machine and message repeated itself 3 times. I did not answer or call back.

Received call from person stating their from IRS and there's a problem with my tax return.  They threatened a federal warrant etc.  I am an IRS employee.  Please let everyone know that these are scam calls and not IRS employees.

I got the same call today, from a David Gray supposedly with the U.S. Treasury office.  He told me the IRS was coming to arrest me within the next few hours and would detain me for 30 days.  Really freaky.  I will report to the IRS now.

Received a voicemail from Christopher stating that he was from the US Treasury and I needed to contact him right away for this important manner otherwise I would be appearing before a magistrate, grand jury or a federal judge.

Called threatening to have me arrested and go before a court

People, just know that if there is issues with the is they will send you a letter through the mail.  THE IS NEVER CALLS YOU DIRECTLY. This is a scam. Be cautious. They left a message on my vm similar to the one everyone is reporting here.

I did not answer, so it went to voicemail.

Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an initial appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal attempt.
My number is 425-678-3622. I repeat, its 425-678-3622.
I'd like you to call (Craig's ??) with us and help us to help you.

same thing just happened to me-reported to treasury website. these people who do this are jerks.

Same experience as other callers - David Gray calling to warn me that I'm in trouble with the IRS for a federal criminal attempt.

just received call this morning form 425-678-3622 , Dept of Treasury

Caller stated that his name is David Gray from the treasury dept regarding income taxes. Failure to contact  them wifi result in going to court before a magistrate. I inform him to be sure to let me know when the court day is.

I received this call twice this morning.  I'm not worried about it.  Local news (Indianapolis) reported this kind of activity just last night.  I hope they go broke trying to pay their phone bill.

I received the same v-mail call from David Gray a little over an hour ago saying he was calling about an enforcement action by the United States Treasury.  Ignoring this will be an intentional second attempt to avoid an appearance before a magistrate judge or grand jury for "federal criminal attempt".  He urged me to call back so he could help me.  He had a foreign accent and could not speak English very well.

This guy, something Gray, has called 3 times so far today.  I know it's a scam so I am not responding.  I am a tax preparer so my taxes are PERFECT.  If the IRS or US Treasury wants me, they know where to find me.

states from unite states treasury. foreign caller , sounded indian.. very broken english. I told him I know it was a scam and to take my name off his phone list, he told me he didn't have to and would keep calling back.
