credit card processor trying to trick you into changing by saying your CC machine needs critical update. Make it sound like they are your CC processing company....phishing for new business

Called hung up, called hung up, called hung up, called hung up, called hung up, within 1 minute. No one ever answers when I pick up they always hang up

Just got the same robo call. No name of company and no information about my specific processor. They are now blocked.

Caller left a message and said that they were calling regarding credit card processing and that my terminal needs a mandatory PCI data upgrade.  Apparently, these scammers do not know that I do not use a credit card terminal.  When you call the number back, a recording by an unidentified company says, Thank you for calling back.  If you are not interested in receiving any future calls regarding our special promotions and would like to be placed on our Do Not Call list, please press 1 now.  The recording repeats a couple of times, then hangs up on you.  There is no way to talk to anyone.  Obviously any company that answers their phone this way is a scammer!

BTW, Panasonic makes some good call blocking cordless phone sets, such as the KX-TG454 SK or KX-TG465 SK which both block up to 250 phone numbers.  The Ooma phone system blocks 254 personal phone numbers and 1000s on their community blacklist. The T-Lock Call Blocker, which connects to your phone line, blocks 1500 phone numbers.  You should check them out on eBay or Amazon if you want to block telemarketing calls.  Hope this helps.

Voice mail from credit card scammer found already filtered into the SPAM folder by Google Voice.  Blocked the number.  Reporting.

This number called our office at around 4:00 am & left a voice mail saying we needed to upgrade our credit card processing terminal for PCI compliance.  It is true that there are annual PCI compliance requirements, so rather sneaky of them to use this.  But I know it's baloney b/c I have lots of experience with scammers like this of all stripes. Also,we use Intuit for credit card payments, so we don't even have a credit card processing terminal! Yesterday I must have had 10 BS calls from different sales scams, financing scams and fake google crap. Such a waste of my time.  Who talks to these people???

We don't use credit card processors, so clearly this is just phishing for credit card information.

Called twice within 6 minutes, never leaving a message: a Telemarketer's MO.

They call. I let speaker take it. Dead silence on our end, silence on theirs. After a minute or less they hung up. Call blocked.

Robo message - obvious scam

This number just called.  I knew it must be a scam, so I googled the number.  I was surprised to find how many people have been getting called by the same number with the same scam.  How does someone go about catching the scum bags that are trying to pull off this scam?  I would like to get them an all expense paid vacation to Club Pen for committing phone fraud.

Robo call. These spam calls need to be illegal and whoever makes them needs to be fined. They are a public nuisance.

No company name in caller ID might be a huge Clue!   it is so easy to spoof a number.         God Bless America LOL
