Three rings and hung up

Caller ID says SSI. I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.
I blocked the number and reported the call to the FTC (not that it does any good).

Multiple calls daily especially around dinner time. Caller ID says SSI. Never leaves message. Plan on blocking.

Unfortunately. people that return calls to unknown numbers, are more 'stupid' than any number which calls them, or any music which they play.

I did not recognize the number, so I did not answer.  Of course, they did not leave a message.

Range 3 times, answer machine picked up. They hung up before the answer machine voice message was over.

Its from Ames Lake Washington, which is just next to Fall City Washington. Who knows what kind of scam is being run from someone's basement out there.

This number (425-880-5962) comes up as SSI and calls our house every evening at least 2 - 3 times.  They never leave a message and when I pick up no one says anything.

Ive been recieving calls like this for months now. not just this number but other numbers too all doing the same this, no voicemessage and when i pick up they hang up. Also my debit card information has been stolen 4 times in the last year, information i input onto my phone regularly to purchase stuff on amazon. I think the calls and the card duplication are somehow linked. what do you recommend doing? im only 20 and have had almost 300 dollars stolen from me, it was refunded by my bank but still im 20 and things like this happen to people like maybe once or twice in their lifetime, its been 4 times in a year.

My landline phone rang couple times, I picked up, dead line (line hum), hung up after 2-3sec.  Don't know who called but obviously up to no good, scammer.  SSI @ 425-880-5962. Hang 'em high!

Has called twice - and hung up when the phone was answered.   Bummer, had a few choice words for whoever was calling.  Of course, the scams seem to keep getting dumber and dumber. Hate the scammers, but since nothing seems to stop such calls (neither blocking nor ignoring) have decided to have much fun as possible with them.  Works nicely to give out false information!

Caller ID indicates SSI. Also calls on an 801 area code. It appears to be a survey that is pro Hillary as the comments I found were very crudely anti Hillary. Both numbers blocked. My DIL also received 2 calls this evening, one after 9 p.m. No one there.

SSI is probably Survey Sampling International. They are very large and have many telephone numbers, and thus there are many complaints on 800notes.

They have a webpage with information on how to "opt out of getting calls from them" - it is worded to sound like they are doing this out of the goodness of their nosy corporate heart, but it's really because law and regulations require them to. Warning : after 5 years, they can start calling any number given them.

No message. I've saved this number to my caller ID under "scam" so if they call again I'll know to ignore it, or answer the call and repeatedly press the # key to signal the robo dialer that it's a nonworking number.

Frequent calls - 2 to 4 times each evening. Our call blocker stops it after 1 ring. Still very annoying.

When I get calls from survey companies, I lie to them.  If they can't get accurate information their  services won't be required.
