Receivables Management (RPM) is calling for Sprint claiming I have a balance that needs to be paid. I bought my daughter a Sprint cell phone, and she says she is paying everything on time. Is it scam?

They keep calling ... and never leave a message.

You never speak to anyone.  They call and the phone rings once and they hang up.  I get called twice per day.  I researched and found that they are a collection agency used my many companies and they don't bother to listen to you if you call them.  They will accuse you of lying and will not accept your proof of a paid debt.  I simply do not answer the calls.

repeated calls with "hold for a representative" happens every freaking day!

They call about 4 times a day. They even call and wake me up early in the morning. Even when they are ask not to call, they continue to call. This is really getting old. I have never had anything like this to happen.

i have been getting many, many calls from this company without anyone on the other line...today, 07/10/07 i called the number, and, actually spoke to someone (believe me, i'm putting this nicely) and advised her to take my number off her list....this was the most rudest, unprofessional, undesirable, "customer service" person i have ever spoken to.....and when i asked to speak to her supervisor, i was told to call back when "i'm" in a better mood and was hung up on.....there's got to be an attorney out there or someone with professional, legal, will-work advice on how to stop this....

Calls come from early to late (9PM), several times a day, never leaves a message.  Very irrating.

I called another collection company yesterday to report the person they were seeking was unknown to me. Today I have already gotten 2 calls from this Receivalbes that ring 2 times and hang up. I saw on a TV show about collectors that they are supposed to stop making contact if you notify them in writing.  Also, they are supposed to send something in writing if requested. I am going to do so and then find out where to report them if the calls don't stop. I'm going to be careful to ONLY give my telephone number when I write.

These people are calling me non-stop. All hours of the day & even on Sundays. From what I can understand they are from Sprint, but i'm current on my bill? I never answer but they keep calling and never leave a message. Who do I report this to??? Is this a scam?????

I get called 2 times a day with no one picking up when I answer. I get this number from my caller ID. They don't leave messages and I don't know the company. We owe no one and don't have sprint for a phone carrier. Something needs to be done, but I don't know what to do. Can you help? Why do they call if they don't let you know what they want?

I am getting such unwanted calls from 1-425-984-6248. Need to stop this mallicious practice

I too  have been getting calls from this number.  They never leave a message.  They call all times & every day of the week.  They called me 7:00am on Sunday!! How do we stop this! I don't have Sprint.

I also get calls from this number. They call all hours, any day of the week. Only a couple times have I actually spoken with anyone. They say they are collecting a debt for $40 and want me to pay over the phone. I tell them I will do no such thing and that they should mail me the bill. They said they have and I said I did not receive it. They have been very very rude to me and told me I obviously do not pay my bills.  I got very offended and told them how I felt, only to be hung up before I was finished. I want these calls to stop.  If I really owe some company $40, I would gladly pay it if I get a bill.

These people call CONSTANTLY, leave no message and if I do answer, they say nothing-so what do they want from me-I do not own a sprint phone and never have, so they need to stop.  I emailed them, blind-copied the state attorney general, the local papers and the NY news shows.  Maybe something will come of that, but I doubt it.

I have been getting calls for about 2 weeks now, maybe longer.  I have caller id and have been wondering who they are and why they are calling me...glad I found this site...you all have scared me here!  I can't believe that these people call you all so many times daily, etc.  I don't answer the phone and won't when they call.  They only call a few times a week but still - after reading all these messages, I am not going to try to deal with these people on any level.  If anyone has found a way to stop this, please write in here...I need to know.  Thank you.

Received a call today from the above number...the phone rang only once - 4:12 P. M.  Yesterday they used another phone number - an 866 number...I am recording the dates, times, numbers and times the  phone rings every time I call...this should help when I report them.

Received a call on 10-10 at 9:49 A. M. - 1 ring
every time they call I am reporting it here...when it comes to a month next week, I am going further with complaints.  I do not owe Sprint or MCI...I can't figure out why these people would call me, either.
If anyone has had success in stopping this illegal activity, please advise here.  Thanks!
