Scam trying to gain remote access to computer

Called cell phone at 11:32 am CST, did not leave voice mail.

Same thing - call on cell phone and nothing when answered.

did a lookup on the area code and found that it is an unassigned one so it could have come from anywhere in the country

tried to get me to give access to my computer, spoke with an accent

No response when I answered

Caller spoke with heavy accent, claimed to be calling from someplace called "1st call America", or something like that, based in Las Vegas.  Calling out of the kindness of his heart to warn me that, for the last few weeks, every time I get on the internet I'm picking up dangerous viruses.  Confused him when I asked which computer he was talking about & I told him that I only go online when I'm at work 'cuz I don't want to pick up any viruses...

Caller called a few minutes ago, spoke with a heavy accent and noise in the background claiming that my computer was downloading viruses or something like that, he was hard to understand. Asked what his name was and who he worked for but could not understand him. Hung up the phone.

Called my cell an hour ago. Called twice in a row, but I didn't answer.  It went to my voice mail but when I listened, there was no message

Got a call - left no msg.

called land line, got answering machine and hung up after 2 sec heard something garbled

Called about virus in my computer.  Told him it was not a virus in my computer but a pain.   The pain is people like them calling me.  He hung up.

Calls multiple times while we are on are computer.  Also called on my hisbanss cell phone.  We are on the do not call list.  Foreign speaking telling us that we have a computer problem.

Just called 6:48 when I was on break.  Same story, Indian accent, said there was virus on my computer.  I really hope it isn't one of those scams where people put virus on your computer then try and get you to pay to get it off.  I really don't have the money to bring it in to Office Depot and get virus off of it.

Heavy East Indian accent. Called about my Windows operating system was infected with a dangerous virus. I do not own a Windows computer. Appel IOS.

I picked up phone but no one answered, figure it's a scam as are most these days
