Bogus call supposedly from some unidentified government agency threatening imminent arrest if you don't respond to the foreign-accented person.

I got the same call.  Not responding as I think its Bogus also.  So tired of all these calls.

The caller id is Level 3 Communications and looks like they have just moved on and this is a new set of phone numbers they are calling FROM.  This "company" thrives on scams.  My suggestion is do not pick up the phone.

I keep getting these calls. Completely bogus!  And so tired of it. I've reported them several times. I don't understand why our government will audit and go after honest people and small businesses to try to pay down the US debt. But they won't stop these criminals who are fraudulently stealing thousands from our citizens.  ???

Your callers are located in India and Pakistan and as such beyond the reach of US law.  Call blocker might be of some help.  Also don't pick up on numbers you do not recognize, or where there are caller IDs that seem odd.  Or where there is no caller ID.

this number called left a message saying they were the IRS I called back knowing they were not because they keep calling. When I called back I asked I questions they hung up I called again asked more questions the man told me F***** Off.  How we can stop them from calling.

Laughter is a smile that burst! I find these Scam-Minions funny sometimes.  However, what pisses me off is that they think Americans are stupid enough to pick the phone when they call...Like who would actually believe "Dennis Gray IRS" is a legitimate caller or ID? smh...Before it died out, my other phone allowed me to lock in only numbers that I wanted to hear ring. Hopefully one day the FCC or the Cable Phone companies will come up with such feature. Limited the amount of numbers you can block defeats the initial purpose.

1) NOT humorous & often victims are elderly &/or disabled with phone only regular link --the fear & anxiety alone are damage 2) answer machines & services pick calls up anyway 3) victims pay the phone costs charges for --just receiving the long distance calls/mssgs 4) Posing as an agent of U.S. govt is legal offense & prosecutable 5) Fraud of any type is prosecutable, as is misuse of the "do not call" lists. Read how heavy those enalties are at govt site. Question remains --how to STOP all of them and WHY aren't they being stopped? People need to demand it in numbers & not post online only. Report the calls with numbers and content to phone co.s and US govt til they see volume.

Definitely a bogus call. How stupid do they think we are? They litereally adressed me as "you" in the voicemail.

This is the Same recording, giving same name, that came from another number a few weeks ago (that number was 2092356029).. yes, he calls me "YOU".   I reported that original call to FBI, (easy to do online).

Got the same call. Didn't really listen as I have heard these over and over. Just remember the word magistrate. Thought I would search on the number and here I am. Also for some of the other comments, we are that stupid, that's why they keep calling!

Recd several calls from this number over the past few days. I called back several times until I finaly reached someone who was if Indian decent with an American name of Jared who claimed he was from the U.S. Treasury Dept. and that I was being contacted because I owe the U.S. Treasury. I knew this was bogus so I played along knowing the U.S. Treasury would not make collection calls especially with no mail notification first.

This guy claimed that if I did not pay him the cops would come to my home and arrest me in 45 min. I asked for his name and employer ID which he provided and I also asked him several other questions in regards to the call which I think I flustered him up because what I asked was probably on on his list of questions and answers. I basically told him to go F...k himself and if he called me again the cops would be at his door and he hung up. I called back only to get a disconnected line or busy signal which was strange. I will follow up again.

Don't belive these calls because the treasury would never call you to collect money owed especially if they can't exphain details.

100% Scam

We got a call that was very bad, we didn't understand who it was. I called back and got a woman with an Indian accent who answered Treasury Dept. asked for someone in the household who had been deceased for more than 4 years. When I told her this she hung up. I called a second time and got a man with an Indian accent who asked for another person in the household. When I asked what this was about they hung up immediately.
I called a third time and got Mike Johnson, Federal ID #12532 of the US Treasury Dept. who told me I had a dept of $8950. and someone would be coming to me residence to arrest me or collect the debt, I asked the name of the agent who would be coming and he told me Officer Micheal Sinclair.  I asked if he was with the local police dept. and he said he was an officer of the Treasury Dept. and if I didn't pay the money he would arrest me and put me in jail for 1 year.
I informed Mike that courts decide the sentence for people who are arrested not the arresting officer and that federal "officers" are usually "agents" I know because I was trained by the FBI. He hung up.
I plan to file a complaint this with the US Treasury Dept.

Be aware of a call from Chase City VA number 434-533-2094, is a SCAM.  I received two calls today.  I hit re-dial and a man answered and I hung up on him, They called back again and I didn't answer and I re-dialed back and a lady in which I couldn't hardly understand but I told her not to call my number again because they were a scam, she hung up and I called back four times and no one answer it gave me a busy signal.   Don't fall for this.  Don't give up any information over the phone.
