I received two calls from this phone number earlier today. The calls were about 1 hour and 15 minutes apart. Whenever I put this number through common search facilities, I am always requested to pay for the name and address of the owner of this phone number. As usual, no voice mail was left. I have every reason to believe that these calls (as most of these type seem to be) are computer generated. If anyone can supply proof as to the identity of the owner of this number, it would be most appreciated.

I also just received two calls from this number, no voicemail left, one hour and 45 minutes apart.

I was one day late on a Chase Student loan 3 months ago when I started getting calls from Credit One.(they have many different numbers). Im current on the loan, but I guess they think I need a daily reminder, now..

This person said he was in Atlanta?? Hmmm something is wrong

I don't know how they can profit from these calls.

Two years ago I got a credit card through the mail from this company. I was approved for a credit limit of $400.00 on this card. The first $75.00 was taken out by this bank for themselves, leaving me only a credit limit of $325.00. Then this bank turns around and charges me for this $75.00, I did not spend, to pay back! My monthly charge has been $25.00 per month. I send my payments by mail with a cashier's check from my bank every month on time. Due to the mail and this company's inefficiency, I am being charge another $25.00 for a late fee. This bank gives you no grace period. Whenever I try to talk with someone who works for this company, they sound like foreigners from the country of India! They do not let you communicate with them, they only have a script to go by. I have long since paid off my $325.00 plus. I don't even use this card anymore, but I am still getting new usage charges on my statement every month! Now this bank continues to harass me all the time, within minutes all day long! How much is it going to take to get these people off my back?

Pay online and cancel the card.

I would close the account! Tell them if they keep calling you that you will get them for harassment. There is an attorney who will sue them at $500 a call I think. Morgan and Morgan is the name.

They keep calling from different numbers everyday from as early as 9 am to 10 pm they call my work nonstop I ve told them they can't call my work they don't care do it every day finally my HR person told me to make it stop I apologized and said I told them to cease communication @ this number its my employer and I can't receive calls

Have been receiving dubious messages from this number. Played along for a while because I figured it was a scam. Yup!  Now he is asking for money to get to the US from Belgium

Was the phone number; 434-533-9059 or 434-533-5208 ? I received the same message asking for money to go from Belgium to the US. Then saying he was stuck in Germany. Interesting.

Calls my work number in the afternoons. I never answer. No message is ever left. No clue what "WCF" is, but it does not seem to match what folks have mentioned earlier about "Credit One Bank." Also, I have never heard of Credit One Bank and have no accounts with them. So, scam? Same number being used for multiple purposes?

They pretend to know me and make some joke about how hard it is to reach me.

Second call in as many days from "WCF," presumably the "Women's Cancer Fund" charity scam.  The number they used yesterday was 240-444-8479, and I have no doubt they have others.  As yesterday, hung up as soon as the answering machine picked up.
