did not leave message on cell phone voicemail..anyone know what city this # is from ??

received 3 calls to my cell phone from this number in the last 2 days.  caller id says Cedar City, UT.  left a recorded message on voicemail - first part is cut off, audible part says "...We will call you back later.  Thank you."  i have no idea who called.

They said they were from the SF Chronicle calling to verify if our subscription had started.

I have no idea who this is. I have received4 calls from the # on cell phone. I haven't answered as I don't recognize the #. No message has been left.

Received a call, will not return the call.  I am really tired of this, the DO NOT CALL does not work!

received three calls from this number.  no voicemail is left.  called the number back and got an automated message stating:  "thank you for calling us back.  if you wish to be removed from our customer service line, please leave your number after the beep."  i did leave my number to be removed and still got another call.

I picked up the call and they said it was the Star Tribune of MPLS. I said I did not recieve my paper and than he hung up on me! Well whe is my paper and why was some one else set up with my name and number and a diffrent address?

Verizon Yellow pages with a survey to make sure the book was delivered and if you are satisfied. My, oh my- who really uses a phone book anymore. PLEASE Save the trees and stop making the book.

Spooks just playing with you.  I called the number back and got a busy signal.

I got a call from this number claiming to be the Democrat and Chronicle, stateing that my debit card would not go through for payment, and asking for another card number. DO NOT ANSER THIS CALL!

I also got a call from this number claiming to be the D&C and that my card was declined and asked me for a new card.  I didn't give them one.

They call me 2-3 times a day, I don't answer calls when I don't know the number. No VM has ever been left.

I recieved many of these call over several weeks and did a little reserch to see if I could get some relief, so here is what I found.  If you wish to read the rules and or file a complaint about these people who do not honor the DO-NOT-CALL list, go to (fccinfo@fcc.gov) or call 1-888-225-5322. go to fcc.gov for all information regarding the guidelines for the national do-not-call registry. telemarketers are required to check the registry database every 31 days and remove anyone who has registered. Check it out.

I received a voice mail from this number stating they were "verifying service" and "would call back, thank you." Just plain weird. I am not going to answer or call them. I looked up the area code and it is Utah. I live thousands of miles from there!

Just got a call from this number, no message was left... Area code is utah and umm I live in texas so who knows...

Ive gotten 2 calls from this phone number in the last week. No message. I do not answer calls from those whom I do not know.

She said she was confirming that the subscription to the Houston Chronicle had been started as I had requested, I confirmed.  She said that if I had not already made the payment for it, she could accept MasterCard.  I told her that the payment had already been made.  When I called in for the subscription, because it was a special, they required payment at that time.  Wouldn't you think that whoever was calling regarding a payment would already know that?  Kind of suspicious, if you ask me!

This is a SCAM trying to get your credit card information! Do not answer, but if you do DO NOT give them your information! How do we report these criminals to the proper authorities?
