Just out of curiosity, have any of you who have already posted or are lurking posted your resume on Craigslist or Monster.com?

I didn't receive calls from this telephone number until I posted my resume with my phone number on various career search sites.

Same here.....ever since I posted a resume. All sorts weird numbers have been calling me.

The courious thing about this number is when you call it back a message from Verizon
sez this number is disconnected.  How is it someone can call you from a disconnected
number??? It is because the caller Id is an old number they route through.

Correct when you list your resume on line ALL THE NUTS DROP FROM THE TREE

I have been receiving calls from this number ever since I posted my resume online as well.  Except I posted it on Job.com.  When I let the answering machine take the call, it is just has nothing for about 7-10 seconds, but when I answer to tell them off, there is still no one there only for a longer time.  I have received other calls as well.  Caller ID says the call is from Heber City, UT, another call says it's from Louisville, KY((502)410-1375), and yet another says it's from Newport Beach, CA((949)467-9322).  Verizon says all of these numbers were disconnected.  I agree with Judy, how can anyone call from a disconnected number?  I believe someone is spoofing caller IDs and making prank calls.

I have received repeated calls from this "disconnected" number also.  The source in my case could not have  been from a listing with an employment agency - perhaps with a purchase from ebay or other merchandiser.

I've been doing on-line job searches, and all of these #'s are on my caller id!
