- Sasha.A guy name John with a foreign accent, called about a computer. always calling
- Caller: About a computer
- Call type: Prank
- KikiObviously a scam since 439 isn't a real U.S. area code . Never answer calls from an unfamiliar area code, whoever it is can leave me a message lol
- Caller: No clue
- TonyReceived call, 5 second pause, then off. Assume an auto dialer. No second call as yet. Annoying.
- TrishI answered the call. Said something about my computer. I told him this is the nursing home and to please do not call here. Hey this works I tell this to everyone they are always so sorry. Ha Ha
- Kelly| 1 replyObvious scam. Thick accent. Stated my computer was just hacked and I needed them to save it. Wished I had fished for information but I just berated them and hung up. Obvious scam but someone will fall for it.
- Caller: They did not identify themselves
- Anonymous replies to KellyThey called me too. But I didn't answer it. Even if I did I wouldn't fall for the scam.
- Anonymous| 1 replyIf they call back I'm gonna troll them lol
- MidNYteStorm replies to AnonymousThat is good idea if the ultimate goal is to increase the number of calls received. Not to mention hearing some vulgar language as well. These telemaggoters have been known to get verbally abusive if you don't play their game. Just ignore them and consider the option of a call blocker.

- Caller: ??? Of America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- Ted S| 1 replyLike Kelly, claimed my computer was hacked. He gave a company name but the accent was so thick that I could not understand it. He kept repeating the pitch line over and over to almost every question. A dead giveaway that the call was bogus was that I could hear a lot of other "workers" in the background. I asked him when the hack occurred, but he kept repeating the script. I asked him if he was selling antiviral service and he said no. I finally asked him what it was he wanted or he wanted me to do. Short version, he said that he needed access to my computer. I laughed and said, I don't believe you guys. He hung up.
439 is not a US area code.- Caller: Unknown.
- Call type: Prank
- Ted S replies to Ted SBTW, my call was received 06/27/2015 @ 16:19 hours.
- b4n0m4nCaller with accent wanted to fix my compromized computer. Claimed to be an IT Tech Rep. Said they were located in Utah but he was calling from SE Asia. TSA has a website but it doesn't have a company address or phone and has grammar errors, ie., smells phishy. The guy had my address and phone no. The caller wanted to walk me through a "fix" but I told him to send me the fix info via snail mail.
- Caller: Tech Support America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- 12342015Total scam! Got call on 6/27/15 in the afternoon to let me know something was wrong with my computer. I asked how he knew. He said they are calling all the Windows users in my area. Could barely understand his English. He was calling from an obvious very loud call center from "Tech Support America." He had to repeat it various times for me to understand. Same experience as many above...he said I would fix the computer myself. I agreed and said thank you. He said thank you for what? I said for the call. I will fix the computer myself. I'm going to hang up now. He said your computer won't work after you hang up. I laughed and said my computer is not connected to my phone!
- Caller: Tech Support America
- Call type: Telemarketer
- enough alreadyGuy with a foreign accent. He told me there was a problem with my computer and I could lose functionality. I asked him to tell me what a computer looks like. He said very funny and hung up! Love when they hang up on me!

- KCSame thing--Indian accent--told me there's a problem with my computer blah blah blah.... they call me periodically and each time they do I am more abusive to them. Tried to call him back but just got a very fast busy-signal type tone.
- DouglasRecieve a call from this man identified as a I C tech for IC technology. He was asking about my computer. I asked which one and I told him to tell which computer he was calling about. He asked how many do you have and I said I just bought a new so if you are with the warranty company tell which one. He then got rude and I then informed since he didn't know what computer had been purchased the call was over. I thought it was a prank call at first.
- Caller: IC technology
- Call type: Prank
- Is anyone being charged for the call? This was an obvious scammer call but my only concern is with their ability to spoof the number. My suggestion is to report this to our service provider so they can track down the source. Moreover, I would ensure you are not going to be charged for some 900 number scam. If true, the long we stay on the phone the more money they route to some bank. I have never verified those crazy 900 scam email warnings that float around but will now.
- JoeI did not start receiving these calls until I called ATT with some issues I was having on my uverse account. The reason I know it stems from the indian call center rep at ATT is that he asked me for my cell phone # for a call back and I do not have that # listed on my uverse account. I gave him both my wife's and my personal cell phone #'s and sure enough we have both received this scam call from someone with a heavy indian accent. Obviously not everyone is bad, but it's sad that I can't even trust my own cable company to hire legitimate people. Do not answer if you get a call from this number!
