Claims to be a Reginald (or Reginal, he was muffling) Sterling, and that he's from Pre Trial Intervention and that I have a pending claim against me. I live in CA while the number is registered in Ohio. What a stupid scammer who has nothing better to do. This is the second time he's called. The first time, he's tried calling from a 440-249-6862 number. These people will continue to call using different numbers so the block button will be your new best friend.

Caller says you have a claim against you. Have your lawyer contact them.  Called twice . Don't answer. It's a scam

I received the same message, I'm in PA from this Reginald guy, you can tell its a recording.

I have gotten a call from this scammer twice now, first 440-249-6862 and second 440-210-9670. I do not know how I got on this list, I haven't done anything wrong. I do know the law is that if someone has opened a case against you, the opener must send a formal mailing to the perpetrator.  I haven't got anything, therefore this is invalid. Also not calling back would not waive my rights. What I don't understand is why someone would take the time to create this scam.  I called back and received no answer

Same here just got a call from Reginald, scam, they just get your info from loans applied to in the past and try to say you owe X company money and you have warrants ect. to try to scare you into paying them, which, is 100% profit to them since there is no debt.

Got same call. Been getting calls like this for 3 weeks. Once I block one a few days later I'll get a call from a different person and number stating th same thing. It's a scam. If it was a valid debt they would of mailed you notification.

samething has happened to me.  started getting calls like this a few weeks ago.  i blocked the original number that called me, and today i get this number calling me.

they started calling me today.  I had never taken out the loan they were saying  i owed. When I called back the kept hanging up on me when I started asking a lot of questions.

I've gotten many calls from the 440 area code.  The latest is 210-9640, but also watch out for 440-201-8079 and 440-249-7747...all of which I have blocked on my phone.  Still, I get voicemails from these.  Today I decided to call them back.  Reggie, or whatever, answered.  I told him to cease and desist all phone calls to which he replied indignantly to mind my attitude.  He asked for my number, which I gave figuring they already had it.  He starts to tell me I have 2 felony warrants out for me in NC (where I live), and I will be arrested within 2 days.  Since I've been getting these calls for months with no visits from law enforcement, I told him that was incorrect.  Now he got belligerent and thus started the shouting match.  I admit using some not friendly language, but the main point I wanted to get across was that I will be reporting him to the NC Attorney General's office, which has a good record of going after these scammers.  Don't let this ignorant scum get away with it!

Caller stated his name was Robert Mitchell and I owed money and if I did not pay it I would have a warrant for my arrest. Told him I did not owe any money and I was reporting his name, company name and number to the Attorney Generals office.  Also called from 440-345-7151. Scammer!!!!!!

If you have received a call from a collections firm representing itself to be Litigation Support Services in Cincinnati, OH rest assured it is not us.  We are a court reporting firm that works with attorneys, not consumers.  My name is Kirk McCracken, and I am the president of Litigation Support Services in Cincinnati, OH.  We have now been informed that this collections firm is saying they are "legitimate" and giving out our website address as proof, www.litsup.com. Now that they have begun representing themselves as us, we would like to start building a legal case against them.

Got the call today from a John or James Tompkins. The girl came on the phone smacking her gum, and I informed her that I had received no written notification, and had already notified the States Attorney General, because I had received the same call on Friday. She said "then why you calling us?" I told her you called me, and I am advising you not to to continue. She said don't ever call this number again. block em!!

I received a call from this number stating that there was a warrant being issued for my arrest based on an email account that has my information. So I called back to speak to the person that has been leaving his name and number on my phone for the last 2 months and they refused to comply with the directions and kept putting me on hold.

I just got the same call.  They called and left a message on my husband's cell phone.  So I called back (out of sheer curiosity).  They identified me by my husband's cell phone #(which isn't mine) and my nickname.?  I got a female who "transferred" me to another one.  (Same voice, I actually heard her change her accent mid-conversation. #Priceless).  It was a Rebekah from "Litigations."  She was "real professional", and kept referring to me by my nickname only. She mentioned a past address and old email account I had, along with the name of an old bank.  I wouldn't give her any information at all.  Never once did she (or I) state my legal first name, and my last name was never mentioned.  She stuck me on hold for 2 minutes while she "consulted with the debtor" to haggle over negotiations.  She tried to get me to pay a balance on a "secured line."  I told her I was paying her nothing over the phone and she could send me something in the mail with the debtor information on it.  That's when she hung up on me.

I received the same call today, they normally call from 440-220-6017, until you discover who they really are.  I have already contacted the FBI and given the info and as soon as i gave the number she said they are scammers.  They tell you that you have either 1 or more bench warrants for your arrest and the charges can vary.  They told me 1 charge was for check fraud from 2012, didn't have a checking acct then and then for internet scam,  I have never in my life scammed anyone unless it was t turn the tables on a scammer themselves.  Beware of anyone calling from this area code.  I live in DE and the calls show from OH, I just contacted my cell phone provider and had those calls put on a block list.  Also enter your number in the National Do Not Call Registry!

Just an FYI, the person will also use the name Corey Aiken!  This is from the 440-220-6017 number!
