A woman asked for the lady of the house.....went on about donations for a breast cancer vaccine.

called and left no message. Caller name misleading.

call and said she was andria somebody then hungup

I got the same call a few hours ago like Mark  and caller ID said Fred Vent VW but line went dead just after picking it up.

Same as Mark and Robert above...Fred Vent VW.

Thanks to those who identified the caller as a charity telemarketer.
Note: Most charity telemarketers take 80% of any money donated as commission. Never give money or sensitive information to unsolicited callers.

Left no message, caller ID says Fred Vent VW.. when I called back I had to option to be put on a no call list....30 days to update for no call list..Breast Cancer something or other charity fundraising. Recorded message.

The reason to be on the do not call list, is so that you have a valid complaint with standing.
When enough complaints come in for a particular caller, sanctions (fines) will be applied. And they are getting jail time.
For those out of the country, Trunk line restriction and other actions can be taken, but you all need to keep up the pressure by turning in the complaint DNC. I know it can seem like a pain in the rear, but many have been charged and the robo's are way down since years ago. There is always going to be an ass out there, KEEP REPORTING.

Also an attempt to pull AT&T and others like them into court for aiding this federal law breaking may have to be worked at. A class action with all the reporting on this web and DNC will be of substantial weight.

Half a dozen times or more called by the alleged Breast Cancer fundraisers

The lady called me by my first name, she wanted a donation for breast cancer.  She wanted the card number right away, said it will save a stamp, I could buy a lot of stamps for the $50.00 dollars I donated to breast cancer.

There's a Fred Vent Volkswagen dealer near me with a totally different number. I wonder if they know someone is using the name to make  fraudulent calls.
