got a call on my cell number, DNC list is just giving them the numbers to call. hung up no message.

Received a call and it's from the breast cancer research.

Received a missed call from this number moments ago.  No message was left.

Just called left no messagr

Many posters in 800notes claim the Federal Do Not Call List (DNCL) is not working for them.  We constantly attempt to find a way to explain what the DNCL really does, at a level these posters can understand.

Why doesn't the DNCL stop the other calls?

• Charities, political calls, and non-sales calls are exempt.
• "Business relationships" may be exempt.
• Criminals do not obey the laws, and happily ignore the DNCL.

Called and wanted donation for Breast Cancer patients.

I got a pretty realistic Text to Speech robot asking if they were speaking with the man of the house. I just made noise into the phone and the voice repeated itself word verbatum. It hung up when I said "This is a robot"

Received a call and woman asked if Jefferson was there.  I told her she had the wrong number and she proceeded with the "oh, perhaps you could help me" routine.  She said she was from the Breast Cancer Research.

Another Breast Cancer so-called "research/charity/help those who had it" scammer.  I do not believe for one nano-second that this is a legitimate Non-profit organization, especially since they will use leading-language and false names to get you to listen to them further so they can jilt you out of your hard-earned income and neither the REAL people who actually have had the disease, ror the REAL research organizations will see not one red cent of this money; it will go to line the pockets of some thief, either here in the States or in some country far, far away.  A real Non-profit would not have to use tricky language and guess at your name or some other person's, to get your attention.

I find it interesting that this website (800notes.com) has no "Call Type" choice for "Scammers".  It would be more helpful if 800 notes would add that as an additional option.

Breast cancer research fund, Its a scam put it in your blocker and they will call you back on a new number in a month.

Unless it is legally from the American Cancer Society of Susan G. Komen (Breast Cancer), I consider it to be scammers.  Something seriously needs to be done to stop these scammers from calling private cell phone numbers.  If I don't recognize the number on my cell phone, I do not answer it because doing so lets these scammers and telemarketers know that someone is there.  Therefore resulting in continuous calls from multiple numbers.

Scammer just called wanting to speak to the man/woman of the house and proceeded with her spiel so I interrupted and told her I have NO MONEY AND CANNOT DONATE then hung up on her.
