The full number is actually "442 074 121069" as it appeared on caller ID.

Automated message "This is the warranty service center, press 1 to talk to a representative".  I bit, to see what they were pulling.  A man with a sort of New York accent answered and said that my car warranty had expired and asked for the make and model (a lie.  I've owned an old, used salvage car for years now.  Of course there's no warranty.) I asked for his company name, number, and address, and he said "for your car".  I said "uh-huh, what company", and he just said "Uh, Kansas" (where my cellphone area code is from).  I asked him again, and he said "look, they're from Zimbabwe or something".  I asked if he was declining to state his company name, number, and address.  He said "let me get a floor manager.  Do you want to speak to Mr. Fife, or Mr. Pyle?"  I just laughed and said "put on whoever you like" and he called loudly "HEY, IS MR. PYLE IN?" I told him that was funny, and I'll have to bill for this call.  He hung up.

Reported to the police.  I encourage you to do the same if you receive this call.

Got a call from 442-074-121069 this evening. Went on the guise of selling car warranties. I did the "1" thing and got some guy that asked what make and model car I have. I said "This is (my name) take me off your call list" and he hung up immediately. BTW, I'm on the national do not call list.

This  number called my personal cell number.

Call came in to my cell.  The number looked too long to be legit.  They left no message.  I did not answer.

Got a call about 10 min's ago from this # (442-074-121069).  Same as above.  No message left.  My wife get's these types of calls, too.  Seems that if you pick up the phone, and yell at them, to stop calling, they seem to do so.

I just got a call from this number of my cell phone, didn't pick up due to the extra digits.  No VM was left.  After reading everything above I'm glad that I didn't answer.

My cellphone number is unlisted and on the National Do-Not-Call List.  Yet I just got a call on my cellphone from an unusual looking number:  442 074-121069. I didn't answer it so it would go to voicemail, but they didn't leave a message. After reading this board, I just warned my husband and friends since this 442 idiot seems to be keeping himself busy lately making moronic calls.

Yep, got one too about 10 minutes ago 442-074-1210 69 on my cell phone, which is also on the National Do-Not-Call list.  Didn't answer it. They've called before, trying to sell me a warranty for my 'new' car(a 1987 Toyota.)  But they always seem to need the details. Which I think is pretty funny. I've kept them on the phone for 15+ minutes, which helps to run up their phone bills, not mine. I've now assigned it a new ring tone, silent.

Just got a call on my cell phone and I am on the national no call registry. They mentioned something about a car warrenty. I was at the computer and typed the calling number in, found out it was a scam.
