called at 1:08 did not answer was in basement . actaul #on called Id was 442074791697. I don't know anyone with that number .

Same number including the extra 97. Something about car warranty insurance

Got a call from 442-074-791697. Never seen a number like this before. The same type of call has also called me two other times with the same 442-074 prefixes but with different six digits after (442-074-204650 & 442-074-962024). They call at different times. One day at 4:27pm. Another at 9:47am and the last one at 1:06pm. It's annoying! Anyone know who they are and how to stop them?

I got a call on my cell from 442-074-791697 as well, just now, at 7:46 est on 2/25.  The recording told me that my auto insurance was expired.

they just call at different times. i've never been able to get to the phone though so i don't know what its about. it had an extra 97 on the end though.

Apparently it is a number from central London. Sounds suspicious to me.

Thought it was a call from my bro in London, turns out it was telling me my auto warrenty had expired.  2/25 7:47PM

Just missed one at 7:40 442074791697. Missed the call. Tried calling back but it said the code was incorrect. Very strange indeed.

Missed a call from 442-074-791697 also, at  7:27 pm tonight, about the same time as other callers here getting that number.  What is with that?  I would say a foreign country, if so, it is Baguio 442 in the Philippines supposedly.  Have no idea what this is about, probably a scam and I wouldn't recommend anyone returning a call to a number like that.  Could be coded for who knows what.

i got the same call at 6:53 tonight.  very weird.

It left part of a voice mail message that said "Press 1 for repairs".

Just received a call at 9pm est. I pressed #1 to speak with a rep to "renew" my auto insurance. When the man answered, he didn't say his name or the company name, just asked, "whats the year and make of your vehicle", and I replied by asking him if he had my information on his computer screen, if he could see my phone number, and he said, "no, just a phone", like he was the one that was being inconvenienced, then he hung up on me!!!  This is wrong, and it wasn't even my home phone, it was my cell phone that he called, which costs money per minute of airtime usage!! Someone needs to stop this scam, IF THEY CALL YOU, JUST GO ALONG WITH IT AND FIND OUT "POLITELY" WHAT THE NAME OF THE COMPANY IS!!!!!!! Then please post it on this message board so others know, and can do something about it. Thanks

Recv'd call @ 8:11p 2/25 CST. The only thing i've done on the net lately is sign up for Progressive Auto insurance, didn't answer it, no voicemail.

my wife's cell just got a similar call... i will answer it next time... and try to find out who it is...  thanks for this message board!
