something about car insurence.. recording, but I stayed on the line for a reprisentative and asked who they were. Was promptly hung-up upon.
I just had the same thing happen to me. I waited for a representitive and some hick came on the phone. I asked him what kind of company he was with and he hung up on me. I tried calling the number back and it was not an active line. Anyone know where I can report this??? s
Received a call from this number, they did not leave message, not calling back. From reading whats on here, sounds like a scam. There were also 2 additional numbers at the end of the phone number that showed up on my caller ID
I received a call today from this number also with the extra numbers at the end 442-074-842277.I wasn't home when they called but wouldn't have answered it any how too many numbers for one thing.
This number just called me here at work, I didnt answer it, but the caller id on my cell phone showed the same number with two extra numbers. Even if i had heard it ring i wouldnt have answered it. I dont answer numbers I dont know.
I also just got the phone call on my cell phone. I do now know how they would have gotten my number but was about my car insurance expiring soon. They also said they have been trying to get a hold of me many times, and its a bad idea to not renew my insurance. Funny... I have a 2007 vehicle...
Just got a call from this number. I did not answer because it showed California as where the call was coming from. I also have the extra numbers on the end as above
it is a scam if you type the number into Google, you can file a report to with the government at www.ftc.gov they are apparently after your money and will use the gemic that your car warranty has expired. They are from London, do not pick up or believe them.
I just received a call from this number on my cell phone. Out of curiosity, I pressed 1 to speak to a represenative, whom might I add, was as obnoxious as ever. I asked how he got my number and he started to stutter, and said "you must have had work done on your car recently". I replied and said "remove my number from your calling list". He continued to talk over me, asking me if I owned a vehicle. Eventually, he got frustrated realizing he was getting nowhere with me, and hung up.
I have been getting calls from this number on my cell for months on an average of once a month. h. Requesting that I be dropped from the phone list seems futile. I have been hung up on several times when I spoke to a sales rep. I too have an old car warranty, but this in not how you gain a sale by harassment. I think I will call the warranty company and see if they acknowledge placing these calls.
