Kept getting this call and no one is saying anything

I've gotten calls from this number twice, once today and once back in March, but I don't answer calls if I don't know the number, I figure if its important they'll leave a voicemail.

Well, both times this number did, but the voicemails are just background noises...

This number is for a collection agency based out of MD, when you don't answer, they leave a voice mail in a form of distort background voices to trick people to call them back assuming it was a normal call

I've been receiving this same scenario and been calling me every morning about the same time.  I do not appreciate this number calling me if I have no business with which ever they are calling about.

This company keeps calling even when we have asked them NOT TO CALL-they call all hours and interrupt me at work-I have on numerous occasions asked them NOT to call me at work and they don't care they keep harassing me-they also call all hrs and leave garbled messages and distorted background noises-they also try to hide their number but cannot since we have anonymous call rejection. They refuse to send me any proof of valid debt but want to continue to harass me-so now I will turn this over to an attorney.

Miss Arnett called and told me they had bought a small credit card debt from my divorce 30 years ago and they have been adding interest and now I owe them $41,000.00

Have you heard of the Statute of Limitations?  Check the laws in your State.  It is 4 years in mine for credit cards. after this tell them to take a hike.  If you pay them 1 penny the time clock starts at 0 and you have another 4 yrs of this.  I'd be polite too for 41k

Just started receiving calls from these people and have had an attorney working on removing the debt, which belongs to a company where I once worked.  It is very hard to do.  I do not answer them and use AT&T's call blocking, but somehow they manage to get through and it shows up as unknown on my cell.  Anything unknown, I do not answer.  Your post was helpful.  Thank you.
