The lady had a foreign accent and tried to get me to give her access to my computer via the control panel.

A man called my wife's number while she was driving home for work. He said when we down loaded Microsoft 10 something was wrong with the security feature.  He give her that phone number and said call him when you get home and he will help with the issue. 443-268-0349

Lady (foreign accent, could hardly understand her) wanting to access my computer because computer had been sending "error messages" to Microsoft. She claimed to be a Microsoft Tech and would help me fix my computer. Hung up on her. She called back but I did not answer.

Male with heavy accent claimed to be calling due to error reports sent from husbands computer. He knew my name although neither the phone or computer are in my name? I called B/S and hung up.

I have a habit of not answering calls with no recognized Caller ID,  I then look them up on the Web and that is why I am here.

Got that call.  Wanted to access my computer and I told them I would give the number to my IT people and let them handle it.  Could barely understand the man and he seemed to get upset when I ask what he was selling.  Go figure!

Received call from this number yesterday (8/30/15) said they detected I was having computer problems & needed to access my computer. Told them they were a scam & hung up; they called back & did not answer. Could not understand what company he kept saying - very heavy foreign accent.

Unsolicited call.  Did not answer.  Certainly spam.

Received a cold call today on my cell phone from a polite lady (accent akin to someone from the Indian subcontinent -- I hope that's not a politically incorrect way to describe it; if so, I sincerely apologize, really) informing me that Microsoft had informed her company that my network account was not secure.  I asked her to tell me where from Microsoft she obtained that information, but she could not articulate exactly the source of the information. I asked her which computer was not secure, and she told me my home computer.  I told her I was on my computer right then and asked her to tell me what site I was on if my network information was not secure.  Instead, she told me to click my "Windows" button.  I asked which one and she said the one in the bottom left hand corner.  i did so  and she asked me if my menu had a link to Control Panel.  I told her that I knew how to access my Control Panel and did so.  She asked if the first entry was "Action Center," and I told her it was not. I read the lists to her. I asked her if she even  knew what version of Windows I was operating.  At this point, the call was disconnected (not by me, as I was having fun toying with her, figuring the more time she spent trying to rope me in, the less time she'd be able to spend on someone who might fall for her charade).  I even called the number back, and got a message saying all representatives were busy and was placed on hold (after about 3 minutes, i got bored and hung up).

Woman called from this number, sounded like she was Indian or Oriental. My uncle answered the phone but I'd seen the caller ID and known it wasn't anyone we knew, so I picked up the other line and listened in.

She claimed his computer was sending them error messages and was not secure. My uncle said, "I'm sorry, I can't understand you" and she repeated herself. I jumped in and said, "She's trying to scam you. Don't listen to anything she's saying. She's a scam artist."

My uncle hung up the phone and I used some choice English expressions toward her. :)

Yes, my caller was a foreigner named "TOM" that I could hardly understand that said they "could see" that my pc was in danger of being corrupted, if I didn't give them access.

received call twice Labor Day. Number not recognized didn't answer

Caller claimed there was a security problem on my network.. Which network? I told them to stick it where the sun doesn't shine.

Cell Phone Call, didn't answer, name unavailable, caller didn't leave a message.  TrueCaller Web site reports no such number listed.

Man with heavy foreign accent (person from India or similar) and possibly some computer voice distortion as well, called my cell phone saying my Windows computer had an issue, and something about my network, etc. and I was sending my info. all over the internet. I said it sounds like B.S. to me and he hung up. Then called me back 3 times in a row right away. I didn't answer. Jerks.

Guess I kept them talking too long to. Hung up on me.

Caller I.D. showed this number called yesterday but when I called it back a recording told me this was a non-working number.

Man called with foreign accent from 'Windows Support' - I definitely did not request...told him I was recovering from knee surgery so make it quick, I needed to ice! He apologized and hung up...figured it would be a scam...

I just ignored the number we have been getting a lot of them lately, all of our cell phones in the family.
