Debt colector lawsuit and arrest warrant emails etc.

United States Department of Justice Called today 01-26-2016. I called the Deparment of Justice in Washington DC. The operator told me " We are closed because of the Weather" you can call back tomorrow 01-27-2016. 443-303-8834 is a scam !!! Be careful !!!

Scam. Debt collector for back taxes and arrest warrant emails.

This number calls me daily and today emailed me with a arrest warrant pdf.  SCAM!!!

Leaves messages on voicemail addressing you by your full and complete name stating that you are being sued by the U.S. Dept of Justice and that you must call back. Male caller tells you that you will have to appear before a jury in a 'courthouse' --- Makes various threats and calls back repeatedly leaving the same message.

They emailed the same crap today!

Arab called stating he was from federal gov. Hahahaha dept of justice lol goof one bud

Some Arab man called addressed me by my dead sister name and said she took out a loan in dec 2014 she was in the hospital battling cancer. Threatened to have her arrested. I listened to the crap and told him wrong person he kept talking screaming he needs to stop scamming people

Some foreign man(fool) keeps calling and emailing me threatening supposed arrest warrants for a loan I never had. When I told him to please come get me the began to scream at me. I could barely understand his due to his heavy accent. This scam artist calls me several times a day and I would love to get me hands on him>>>

This person leaves threatening message that an arrest warrant will be issued for me,  after giving him a piece of my angered mind he finally gave me a name of a company that I had never done business with and I told him so.  I told him that in knew this was a hoax and to never call me again as I was reporting him to the FTC and the FBI at which point he hung up on me.  When dealing with these people be aggressive and loud and be sure to report them.

Received a call today 2-5-2016 from a man claiming to be from the Dept. Of Justice informing me that a case was supposed to have been made against me and that i should call the number back, go to the Dept. of Justice and verify my identity. It's all a hoax but it got me all rattled inside. These people need to stop what they are doing before they end up killing someone, not that they would care coz all they really want is our money.

I seem to have gotten the same Voicemail message. What can we do to put a stop to these con artists?

Got an email and phone call from these ppl. Wasn't sure at first of this was real or not but I'm glad to know this was all a scam.

I also received a call a few minutes ago from the same number. They told me they needed me to answer some questions regarding my IRS audit and if I did not return their call within 48 hours they would proceed with pressing charges against me. I called my accountant and he said it's a total scam and he had other clients who had received the same message. He said the IRS would always send multiple letters via mail and very seldom would ever notify you via phone.

Left a voicemail same as others report here. Some male with a heavy African accent claiming he is agent Travis Carter stating he is from the department of Justice and there is and there is (undecipherable) which is going to be sued from the court house against my name .... and to call this number to "justify" myself.  It didn't rattle me as that poor use of English can only be a spam, but I wonder how to get these people since we are all getting the same phone number calling us, to stop?

they called me too, claiming to have mailed something to me about an audit

Left me a voice mail today as well. 2-10-2016. He called on my google voice number. Said I was being sued for Taxes from  2009 - 2013 (been using H&R block for years with the  audit protection) for the exact amount I am now getting for my disability.  I never  received any letters from the IRS. I called back after I told him I was contacting the IRS about this. When I called back with out giving him my name...told him I would be reporting him to the FBI if he continued to call me and  insist that this was "The Department of Justice" and said I could proceed and I would be sued in a very irate voice. Of course, it was difficult to understand with his heavy accent.

So lets see where this goes.

Received call today on cell, they left a message and immediately thought is was a scam. Then my friend at work stated they called my work place today, they are saying they are us department of justice.

Scam, received the same call.
