- Pueblo John| 14 repliesReceived a call from this number and being that I've been hounded by Portfolio I didn't answer. Checked on here but nothing with this specific number is listed and I'm suspicious that it just might be Portfolio.
- Julie Simpson Austin texasGot a call from this number on July 10th but left no message
- ShanYet another Portfolio Recovery number.
- phil| 5 repliesRest assured, the mystery caller is Portfolio Recovery. I think what they must do is buy really outdated phone lists. So after Verizon, AT&T, Southern Bell or whoever has recycled the number a few times the person they are trying to get in touch with is long gone. Portfolio doesn't have a clue as to who they are really calling or wind up talking to. BUT if you do answer one of their calls, have some fun with it. Drive them crazy. I've done that a few times. Poor dialers. By the time they hung up I have no doubt that they truly believed someone had left the gates to our local nuthouse open. Tee hee ~ ! ~

- Rich B| 1 replySame thing. Always a call on a Sunday, no message. This time the Caller ID said "Sunrocket DID". Guess they'll try anything.
- TDI just got mine two minutes ago. Thanks Portfolio.
- MarioGot a call from "Sunrocket DID" also... Wouldn't tell me who they were because I wasn't the person they were looking for.
- Jennifer in Florida| 1 replyI got a call from 443.313.1382. The caller ID said they were Sunrocket DID. They said that they were trying to recover an old debt from a jeweler...she listed many names of jewelers and asked if my last four digits of social was ****, which it was. She said that she was attempting to collect a debt from 1995! This is 16 years ago. I hung up on her. I do believe that I did at one time has an account at one of the jewelers she mentioned and may well have defaulted on it. She slipped and used my maiden name.
- Caller: SUNROCKET DID
- Call type: Debt collector
- dwniteThis is a the very bottom in collections. They claim to be a new friendlier problem solving organization.
They are trying to collect on debts that have been discharged in bankruptcy 7-10 years ago or have beyond the statute of limitations. Do not acknowledge them.

- Annie Nona Mouse replies to C.DonahueWTF, is that English? What is this guy even saying???
Got a call from these scumbums today. I ignored the call and they didn't leave a voicemail. What a bunch of douches... - Alwayz Have A Nice Day| 1 replyThey call once every three days. Some days I just let it go to voice mail, others I have just a bit of fun with but not too much. I don't bother to let them rile me up anymore. Sunrocket DID comes up on caller ID, but it's actually Portfolio Recovery. Yup, I'm one of those lousy, dead-beat, scumbags who doesn't pay her bills. They are trying to collect on a Capital One, credit debt from late 2000 to possibly sometime early 2001. Fell behind in everything, when I had to take use the Family Medical Leave Act, and as usual, short-term disability policies are pretty worthless. No money coming in. No pay bills. No choice. Sad part? I took that cute little insurance policy on the credit card that was supposed to pick up the payments on the card if the person became disabled. It didn't. So now, portfolio has been calling me a year or so, every couple of days. If it goes to voice mail, all I get is dead air. If I answer the phone, after waiting a few seconds, someone will come on the line. I allow to go through their whole spiel. I remember the first name of the person, and the minute they say they are from Portfolio, I politely (usually) say.. "Have a Nice Day <insert name here> then hang up the phone. Hey, right now it works for me.. and I am sooooo looking forward to all those people out there that choose to tell us what scum of the earth we are for having debt collectors harass us. They take the time to read these things.. Do they enjoy wasting their time? I guess so..
- Caller: Portfolio Recovery disguised as Sunrocket DID
- Call type: Debt collector
- Kendri replies to Pueblo John| 1 replySame here. Hounded by Portfolio spawn of scum due to an ex-boyfriend decades ago. I have to think your assumption is correct. They're such filth.
- GiGNice of them to hide their name on Caller ID, which is ILLEGAL !
Portfolio just called my house 2 days ago, showing their name.
And now this stupid SUNROCKET DID bull??
Keep calling Portfolio, no one in my house will answer and no one has any money to pay right at the moment.- Caller: Portfolio aka SUNROCKET DID
- Call type: Debt collector
- too many replies to C.Donahuetoo many commas and makes no sense.
- Samantha JonesI get calls from Sunrocket Did, Portfolio, Adam Ross, and the list goes on and on and on. I don't owe anyone anything. I've answered several times & usually they hang up. Once I was told to stay on the line and an agent would be with me soon. So playing along, I waited. He came on, said hello, & I said hello and he hung up. What's the deal? I just don't answer anymore. It's annoying to say the least to have the phone continually ringing, but so be it. I don't know who they think they're calling because they never leave a message, but I am positive the call is not for me. These calls come from all over the USA. It's annoying, but from the looks of all of your calls, I'm not alone.
SHAME ON THEM!! - Pueblo John replies to Pueblo John| 4 repliesAfter a little research Sunrocket is a VOiP company that left the marketplace in a very bad way involving the abandonment of its customers and employees. With that I'm thinking that Portfolio has picked up the service to use in their feeble means to collect on expired debt as well as keeping the Sunrocket name.
So beware!!!
