I got the same kind of message, but I posted it in a couple different categories. I received the message after posting it in the (BARTER) portion of craigslist.

I received a text from this number after listing an item for sale on Craigslist
It wanted me open a picture on some website pic-soft.net to see if what they had was acceptible to me...I am not looking for a trade or searching for anything....I am selling!

Sounds like a scammer trying to hack into computers or spreading virus'

Received the following message from a post I had on Craigslist:  "Hi regarding the *wanted* ad on craigslist does this work for you [pic-att] http://pic-soft.net PhotoID485WTM If so its yours. thanks"  It seemed hokie to me when I tried to open it and it wouldn't open.  Then I googled the number and came to this site.  Looks like another type of scammer.

I too just placed a wanted item on Craigslist and I received the same text message, word for word, as Alaska.  Good thing my phone is not smart and I did not access the photo.   This is a great site to thwart the scammers.

Got the same message as Alaska within 4 hours of placing my craigslist ad.  Same wording. Same result.  I wish there was some way of finding out who this [***] is.

Got a similar message this morning.  When I went to look at the pictures I found I could not see the pictures without downloading the program.  I got uneasy about this so I sent a text back telling the person that I was not going to download a site to view a picture.  He could either send a picture to my cell or tell me what he wanted to trade.  Got a, "Message Failed to Send, Invalid Address."  I began to investigate and found this site.

got the same message

Same situation. Posted item on cragislist. Got a bogus text about some pic. Knew it sounded weird so I investigated & found this site. Obviously a scammer. If only there was a way to catch these idiots!!!!

Same crap here , hopefully this person or people will just get
A life soon.
