I have been getting these calls as well and they do the same thing to me, hang up when I answer.  Who the heck are these people and why are they going to call and than hangup without saying anything.....CRAZY!

This [***] claimed to be my "local yellow pages rep".  Told him I know my yellow pages rep and he can actually speak English, and then hung up.  He called and harassed my secretary until I got back on the phone and told him not to call back ever.

How can I stop these calls?

This guy is just fishing for personal information. Has an asian accent. Not sure if this same guy that has called the rest.

Just got a call from the same guy with an accent.  I told him we didn't advertise in the yellow pages, he said we did.  I asked if there is a fee, and there is, so I told him we didn't pay for it, he said ok and hung up.

Male caller...heavy asian accent...identified himself as 'yellow pages rep'...wanted to confirm church address. Persistent...Couldn't answer why he needed it so i hung up.

Called at 10:56am - no one on the line, no background noise, nothing.

Phone rings and when answered, a dialtone is heard but nobody is there.  Happens two to three times per day.

Asian accent. Said his name is "Shan" or something like that and calling from yellow pages online. I told him I get calls from them every few days and to put me on a do not call list. Said he is calling from a call center. Gave me this as his number 618 233 7939.

I received a similar "hang up" call. No other info on caller ID.

This is a scam.  They call businesses.  The caller tries to get you to say "yes" to something then the business will get a large bill for something or other.  He has you on tape saying "yes" to him and so they try to get the business to pay up or he will turn them over to bill collectors.  Never say "yes" to any of them!

This was an "abandoned" or "dead air" call. "Abandoned" calls (telemarketing calls that are not connected to a live representative within 2 seconds after you answered; characterized by "dead air") from any source - including "legitimate" charities and their telemarketing agents - should be reported as such to the FCC. Go to http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm to do this.

Got a call from a Woman trying to fish our information, I hang up on her [***]! LOL

Definitely a scam.  DO NOT engage these people.  They will try to trick you into saying yes to a "free" listing, then two months later charges start showing up on your phone bill.  BEWARE!

Got a call from the number. Asian man asked for the office manager. I asked "What office?" He hung up.
