Called my cell 3 times in the same day, yet to answer because of work. Can't wait to screw with um....

I got a call from this # at around 9am while I was on my way to work and around 1:30pm when I was about to start a meeting.  I didn't pick up; however, Mr. Number displays it as Timothy Robinson.  I can't find anything on Timothy Robinson who lives in the Maryland area with this number.  The only think I found out on the web that this number could be a land line number; not a cell.

I just called the number back. It's Verizon wireless

A call back got and IVR answering as 'Financial Services'.

We always get calls from this phone number on our cell phones and they never leave a message.  Since our phone numbers have been sold this seems to be an ongoing issue.  It is upsetting to try to get to the cell phone in enough time to answer it only to find out it is no one that we know and there will not be a msg left.  I put our phones on a do not call list but that has not helped because they still call.

It's Verizon Wireless collection....pay your bill and the calls will stop.

this is verizon wireless they call from this number when you account is at least 30 days past due. The more frequent the calls the more delinquent the account is.

Verizon called me too. Your remark about pay your bill and they will leave you alone is erroneous. I told them flat out I'm with AT&T because of the nonsense and stress they put me through and how they padded my bill. I told them I paid them off, gave them the check number, the amount of the check, the date of the check, and concluded with I have a bill and proof it was paid including a copy of the check. The poor fool asked me what my mobile number is with them - Twice. I said I don't have one I'm with AT&T due to their integrity issues. She actually asked me again. I told her I can't give her a mobile number from Verizon since I quit being their customer and went to AT&T. She finally apologized and said she would check into it. I said "Do that! And, I don't want to hear from you again. My service and account was closed down". She said something probably popped up on my bill that shouldn't be there. I laughed and said they were fools, still are fools - and, not to contact me again.

These jerks don't even know when the bill has been paid in full, the account closed, the service is discontinued. Something popped up on my bill that shouldn't be there? Damn straight it shouldn't be there! There should be no bill. Everything was paid off, shut down, and discontinued in FEBRUARY, 2013. They're idiots!!!!

I received a call from this number today, too, on my cell phone. I did not answer. No message left. I have never been a Verizon customer, so if it is Verizon as others have stated, they have the wrong number.

At the front desk, I have to answer every phone call. Every time this number calls, I answer "Good (morning/afternoon), Company name!" and they hang up. If it is collections, they clearly do not want their money that badly. But all they're doing is annoying me.

My bill is paid automatically and they still call.

I think that this a a fraudulent number posing as verizon wireless.  They get a hold of your name and number and ask you to enter information, then ask you to pay, but I am not deliquent.  Its a scam

Write them a cease & desist letter, send it certified or return receipt US mail.  Keep a copy for yourself of course.

What happens if you don't have Verizon

I pressed 1 and complained and they removed me from the list. I told them it was a scam and they didn't believe me. I told them I was going to take legal action if I wasn't removed and they said in 24 hrs the calls will stop and they had no idea how this happened.

My 10 year old son received a call from this number. We are AT&T customers therefore if it's Verizon, or people posing to be Verizon, most likely it's a scam.

I get calls from this number several times a day and I have never had verizon wireless.  Go figure.  Once I was able to call back and speak to a real person and the person they are looking for is someone I never heard of.  I have had this cell number for about 20 years, so I have no idea how they connected my number with that person.  Anyway, they were very nice and apologized and for about a month the calls stopped.  Now they are calling several times a day again.
