This phone number has nothing to do with California.  It's a correctional facility in Maryland.  Someone is calling you collect from jail.

Not sure if it comes from multiple facilities but Metropolitan Transition Center is where I get a call from this number.

Total BS!  NOT the prision.  I got call from this number AND 443-602-9159 saying same BS.  Call the number back and it is Infinity Replacement Windows Co. I told them some tool was using their number(s) to try to pretend to get people to send "bail money" for a "family member" in jail.

Received a third call from people telling me that legal documents will be delivered to my home and would I be here to receive them? They called from (443) 602-8196  but could not / would not give me specifics. (My address, etc.) When I asked for the name of her company she hung up.

this is the number that shows up when my loved one calls from western Correctional Facility, the company that handles the  calls is Connect Network

I want to know if this is really someone calling from prison before I take my time and create an account I do have friends in prison I'm not sure if their trying to call me or is this just a spam

Can't you ask the name of the person calling you? If it's not someone you know, don't set up the account.

I don't know whom this is , How ever I do wish they would stop calling me !!
I know no one in jail , nor do I WISH to .!!!!!!
