Assuming spam call ... in to the reject pile it goes

Two calls in two days

Just got the call from this unknown "Out of area" number. Rang just one time, then stopped.

Called. I answered...no response.

wants money says you owe IRS money

If no one replies to my "who's calling," I just hang up. I don't have caller ID so I have no way of knowing who it is anyway. If they call back, I say a few choice words and slam the phone in their ear. It works for me.

Phone rang but when I picked it up there was no one there.  I tried calling the number back because it looked familiar but after several calls was only getting a blank line......no sound, no nothing.  I have been getting a lot of calls lately regarding the IRS and money owed (which I do not owe) but it's a recording and I just hang up.  Have also been getting numerous calls regarding donating to the police department.  I simply tell them that I do not conduct business over the phone and since they were able to get my unlisted phone number, they should be able to get my address to mail me something.  If they can't........sooooooo sorry!!!!!!     Beware of finding your own phone number showing up on your caller ID when someone calls you.  There is a new device out there that the caller can change their phone number to anything they want and they put in the number they are calling.  So, if your phone number is 123-456-7890 and these people call you, your phone will say the call is coming from 123-456-7890.  It is definitely a scam caller.  Per the phone company, there is no way to track this call or stop them from calling, but supposedly they are working on it.

Called the number back, but interestingly enough it took long than normal for my phone to report Call Failed.

This # keep calling, I have my number on the Do not call list, still bothering.

Called me to talk about my electric bill. Holy, my electric bill paid every month by my landlord. I think this is scam.
