Received a call from this number this morning, only displays as "CHOMEDY  PQ".  It's one of the SCAM 'yellowpages' type of companies!  BEWARE ... do not give them ANY information.  Also should advise your employees not to speak AT ALL with anyone claiming to be from any kind of listing service... tell them not to call any more and hang up quickly.
They are not wanting you to 'update' information, or 'confirm a subscription cancellation' ... ANYTHING you say to them, especially if you give them your name and any company informaiton at all, will result in BOGUS CHARGES appearing on your company's phone bill every month until you catch it! ... Charges which your phone company will just *automatically allow* without any kind of verification from you, and you'll spend hours with them trying to get the charges removed!  Grrr.  I'm so mad at this scammers.

This number has called us 4 times in the last 7 minutes. This is a scam. Do not talk to them.

I've recieved 2 calls from this number within the last 2 hours.  When I call back no ring.  Thank you all for taking the time to post your experience regarding 450-231-0022 scam.  Hopefully this will help others as well ;)

I work at a small business and every few weeks we repeatedly get calls from this company "Yellow Pages Online" The caller ID identifies as Markham ON. They call and try to authorize cancellation of service, which he then tells you is usually $1400 per year, they want $499 to cancel. Do not say yes as you are then authorizing them to send you an invoice for the amount and they have you on recording. When you hang up on them they repeatedly call back and hang up the line, if you answer they yell at you for hanging up on them. These people are terrible!

They said i had a package from ups and they need my address. did not give address hung up on them

They called me Fri asking me to  verify the last 4 digits of ny credit card and I DID since they said they had all that info and were calling for Medicare then they asked me to verify my bank number and I said no I am not comfortable giving you info over the phone and I hung up. Am I in trouble for what little I said? Who do I reportthis to? What can I do further about this?

I would call the credit card company and tell them what happened.  They can put a freeze on your account.  Do it immediately!  Reputable companies NEVER ask for your info over the phone.  If you call the company yourself, that's different.

I appreciate these postings. "Jason Anthony" claimed my husband wanted me to take down a cancellation number to cancel his Yellow Pages listing. It all seemed odd. When he asked for my name, I balked and said I would check with my husband and call back. Thanks, folks! I will block further calks from these folks.

got a call from this number earlier today thou it came thru on the caller ID has coming from Markham Ontario but when I looked up area code 450 it was in Quebec. they didnt leave a message how do I report this number 450-231-0022 to get them to not call again if it is a scam!

I just received about 8 calls from this number. It came through the called ID as QUEBEC. The man on the phone claimed that the owner of the small business I work for told him to call his secretary to cancel a subscription we had. I told him I knew nothing about it and that I don't have on file that we signed up for anything. He said he had the owners signature from when we signed up, when I asked him to send me over the information he refused to unless I gave him the information he wanted for "cancellation". I refused. He continued calling several more times and argued very rudely and cussed at me AND the owner numerous times. They have called a few more times, I transfer them straight to voice mail. Don't waste your time arguing with them. Ridiculous.

This land line number was issued by iristel inc in chomedey, quebec in the SW suburbs of montreal,  I called the cops there & gave them a tip - all french-speaking.  I also sent email to CAFC info@antifraudcentre.ca and canadian phone busters info@phonebusters.com

Another scam.

I keep getting phone calls from this number and I have ignored them, today I picked up the phone and asked them why they were calling my phone, their response was to hang up. I did contact the anti fraud centre that the person above recommended. I advise all people who have AT&T to put a trace on the call *57 keep a running log then turn their butt in to the police..

You know what would be a good thing to do and would trip them out, forward the phone to the local police department hehe

I work at a small business and I got a call from them identifying themselves as "Yellow Pages Online" The caller ID identifies as Markham ON. They call and try to authorize cancellation of service, they want $499 to cancel. And that I need to speak with quality control to "confirm the cancellation of services."  They said that all I needed to do was say yes or no.  The "quality control" indicated invoicing $499 so I said no.  When I asked the company name/addr, quality control hung up.  The rep called me back trying to go on an on about what they needed to do.  I told them that I am NOT verifying anything.  Everytime I asked for their business name/addr, they would hang up.  They are a SCAM to the highest degree.  These people are terrible!

Called just now, and when I answered, just got an extended silence followed by a hangup.

Time to cut off their hands like they did to theives in the old days.
