A guy called to asked me to confirm if I did renew my subscription to "Bixi" (a montreal bike service). I was not sure if he mentioned Bixi so I asked the guy to repeat. I finally said yes, he thanked me and hanged up. I phoned Bixi after. They told me they don't do that type of call normally. I called back 450-616-8535. It was an automated recording. Sounds like a total scam.

Hi, GCD.

When you called Bixi, did you ask them if they make those calls or if they know Symbiose Communication, the comapny that make those calls? I'd be curious since I'm working for that company and we are mandated by Bixi to call the former members to make sure they have renewed their membership !
