Unknown caller

Automated message about a loan for a small business [we qualify for up to $200,000!!!! ::sarcasm::]. Press one to speak with rep, press 2 to be removed from the call list. I pressed 2. We'll see...

Answered the call knowing it was a scam.  Recorded message.  I immediately started pressing the key pad and someone answered thinking that they had a fish (me).
I kept pressing the key pad and then they started pressing their key pad - I love a scammer with a sense of humor...HA!
This went on for at least a minute - one minute that they could not be bothering anyone else.
I finally disconnected and blocked their number.
Buy a call blocking phone.  Uniden and Panasonic make wonderful call blocking phones.  
The phones are inexpensive and come with at least 1 wireless handset.

Funny thing is, when you call the number back, it gives a big spiel about removing your number and how they have to remove if you request...it's all MAJOR B.S.!
Just because they say they have to remove your number doesn't mean they do it...these are not major companies whose profits will drop if they get fined and the public finds out - these are scumbags that don't give a crap and will sell your number to anyone willing to buy it...think about it...how often does Ford or Hasbro or your local handyman call trying to get you to spend your money?  These are companies that hide the faces of the "owner", don't have a website, don't have a callback number, don't have a fax number, etc.  If you are foolish enough to trust that they will remove your number, then I hope you enjoy the new robo-calls!

I received a call from 458-201-0693..Ashley offered 200,000 for a business loan. When asked the name of her company she was calling from, she said that it was Central Payment and the website is cpay.com. I tried calling the above number and it has a recording that says to use this automated service to remove your number from telemarketers and it is required by the FTC. Apparently the telemarketers call for the company from different numbers. There are companies that sell other companies hundreds of phone numbers to use from the same source without using their regular business numbers.

This was placed to our place of business no less then 3 times today alone. First time was an automated message for Small Business Loan Co.  Second and third calls were empty calls meaning no one answered when we answered.

Low life's are calling my cell phone now. Trust they and all the robo calling a$$wipes burn in hell.

Spam dialer, probably looking for fax machines.  Nobody on the other line.
