This number called my land line, stated he was with the IRS and said I owed money.  When I called the number back a guy answered and said hello, I said who is this. he replied the IRS, he wanted my name etc...I would not give him any info and he hung up the phone on me.

This number called my land line twice today and stated he was with the IRS and said I owed money.  When I called the number back, I got a recording saying "The person you are trying to reach is not available.  Please leave a message after the beep."  No mention of IRS.  Have to believe there is a scam here.

Caller stated he was from the IRS and said I owed money. When I called the number back, a person with an Indian accent answered, and identified himself as IRS. When I asked how I could know for certain that I was speaking with the IRS, the person repeated my question back in a confused-sounding voice. I let things hang in a brief, awkward pause, and then I hung up. Very fraudulent seeming phone call.

469-212-8030 left a message on my machine telling me they were the IRS and they were filing a lawsuit against me. I was to call the above number back. It's so ridiculous. It has to be a scam and I've read that this is happening even before the call. IRS will not contact you this way...leaving a message that they are filing a lawsuit. I am thinking about getting rid of the phone, I am so tired of scam calls. Already three this morning and I never pick up.

Got a pre-recorded message from this number stating that it was the IRS filing a lawsuit against me. This is clearly a scam. The owner of this number should have charges brought against them. So annoying!

Got a phone call from 4692128030 saying it was IRS and they were filling a lawsuit against me and to call back... Scam???

Just got this scam call too.  I think that the IRS would have better way to get hold of me.

Same BS as previously reported. The IRS does not call. They send notice via certified U.S. mail.

Do not give them any info they are trying to steal your personal info.

i played along till I was transferred to pay. I knew it was a scam. I told him I wanted to pay full 14k he said he asked for last 4 of social. I made one up. He said yes that's correct. He said get cash out from bank and then call back and he would give me bank number to deposit. I then said just issue me and the arrest warrant and then he said ok and hung up. 5 minutes later got another call from a 202 number with same recording. Hope no one falls for this SCAM!

Just got a call from my daughter telling me IRS is suing me and call (469) 212-8030 Right Away!  NOPE!

The referenced number has called twice and left a message saying we were under a lawsuit from the IRS.

Same happened to us.  Returned from a camping trip to a message with this number saying it was a final notice from the IRS for a lawsuit.  When was the last time the IRS made a call like that without a certified letter to your home?  Knew right from the start is was a fake.

I got the same call threatening me that the IRS is suing me.  I hope you all file a report with the federal government for this fraudulent scam intended to steal our identities.  Make these folks go to jail!!!

Most of these calls are coming from India and Pakistan. We have no jurisdiction in these country's.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

call from "... revenue services" saying that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me, and I need to call the number given. Whole message is in rough female mechanical voice.
Filed complaint with FTC & my state consumer protection agency.
