In reality, they are trying to collect money from you.

Don't answer this number.  Don't return their calls.

I would disagree, it's part of citi's loan modification program.... So if you don't Want your house foreclosed then I'd pick up. Why is it people just wrong from there bills and not screen calls? Pretty sure that's just going to make it worse.

If CitiFinancial would merely follow the "Making Homes Affordable" guidelines as spelled out, utilizing both methods of calculations, instead of blowing smoke with it's own so called best for it's customers CHAMP program, one could work with those in trouble financially.  This company took bailout money from taxpayers to stay afloat it's time for them to help the taxpayers and do what's right.  My situation is due to a divorce, and am more than willing to pay what I can, from what is left after the child support, but I will take care of my child, long before a scumbag company such as CitiFinancial.

Got a call from whoever this is, who sold our phone numbers to every Tom, Dike and Harry?  They should be thrown into jail and everything they own given to the poor.

My mortgage is paid and current.  I am not behind on it.   They called to talk to me about refinancing.

Citi lied to me.  I got an attorney instead.

This is a legitimate call from CitiMortgage. They responded to my online enquiry for refinancing.

It's a legitimate call.  I filled out an online re-fi inquiry and they are just following up.  it's citi mortg and I am not behind on any of my mortgages.

He is correct.  It is from Citi Mortgage.  They do not solicite.  Your phone number must have been given to them.

Do they call anyone else at 7:00 a.m.?  Or am I the only one they do that to?  Incidentally, I bought my house, lost my job, pre-modification was put into place over a year ago and they still have not put a permanent modification into place.  I have been paying religiously and all of a sudden my mortgage payments are no good and they're starting to return my checks.  I guess it's yet another game they are playing to foreclosure on more people.  Citi, as the servicer, makes more money forclosing on people....however, the investors who own our loans don't.  So, it's all about Citi after our tax dollars bailed them out.  Banks are such scumbags.

Really are they so Terrible? or did you just not pay your mortgage, they took the house because you are an irresponsible homeowner...or should i say ex-homeowner, stop blaming your faults on the world, it's all your fault never forget that. be a man and take responsibility for your mistakes.

I just got a call from this number on my 800 number. It was fax spam, but since I am not hooked up to a fax machine, I have no idea what they were trying to send and who they thought they were sending it to. I blocked it so I won't have to pay for the call.

Was looking to refi from my 4.625 % to todays 3.25% but Citi rates are 8 % for refi.

469-220-0000 called for somebody I don't know and left message again saying it's urgent. Tried to call them back to complain but i needed to call different number which would be charged 1.99 on me. WTF...Really bad business (btw, wasting my freaking time) and will report to BBB or Government agents soon.

After receiving numerous calls I called the number back but all I got was a recording that said "key in your parties extension or be disconnected. I sent an email to Citigroup complaining and received the following reply;;

We apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.

The calls you received were reminders for your monthly
mortgage payment. Per CitiMortgage, Inc. policy, we give
courtesy calls to the customers in order to prevent late
charges and negative credit reporting on the mortgage
account.

We have initiated a request to stop the courtesy calls this
request will be completed by 11/07/11. Once the request is
completed you will receive a letter in the mail.
