The call came in from a different number and area code than listed a above. It showed on the caller ID as AlphaOmega net I did,'t write the number down. the recording was selling cleaning for furniture, carpets, drapes, floors, tile, etc. The call back number is the one listed above.

I also received this message on 3/12/14.  This is the 3rd call from this company/recorded message in the last 2-3 months.  I also received them previously, several times over the last few years.  Home phone is on the Do Not Call Registry.  I have filed 2 FCC complaints, doing the 3rd shortly.  I finally called the 469 number this morning and got a voicemail identifying them as something along the lines of "maid in america carpet cleaning".  They need to be stopped.

See other post as reply to Steve...Oh, and by the way, please report these kinds of calls on www.fcc.gov/complaints.  I've just completed my 3rd complaint for this company.  And now that I think I know who they are, I will be pursuing all I can to stop them from these illegal marketing tactics.  "Maid in America Carpet Cleaning", if that's correct from their voicemail recording, needs to be stopped.

Well, annoying phone call or not , I needed some work done, and OMG !!..U got 5 bids on having my Tile and Grout cleaned and Sealed. All 5 varied from S1200 to $2300, these two Guys came in, beat the lowest bid, and for a $1,000, made my Tile and Grout look brand new...I recommend Maid in America Cleaning, regardless of a silly phone call...Im glad I answered

Im with Karla, same deal here, except, I also had Furniture cleaned , Angies List and BBB, these guys are Great !! If your using anyone else, your wasting your money....and Christians as well, we enjoyed them in our home !

Yeah, but you just can't get a shill stain off the carpet. Has that wet dog smell to it. I think it's from all those months sitting on a stool, in urine soaked pants, in some boiler room in Asia. Mr. Clean, Bon Ami, Janitor in a drum - not working.

Been getting calls from these jerks for over 3 years with same pre-recorded message ("Are your carpets dirty?") - their call-from number keeps changing (VOIP/spoof??) but callback number is this one.  So annoying.  I keep reporting to FCC and nothing keeps happening...our government in (in)action.

I also got call from a number with similar message and call back # 469-277-7276.

Crazy people must be stopped. where is Govt now , why can not they help identify these people and hunt them down.

Don't fall for this scam carpet cleaning company! They don't care about do not call lists. Everyone please file a complaint about them to the FCC.

yep,,, same.  "Maid in America" with a recorded mssg to call 469-277-7276.  They are calling my home + work lines daily.  they use 870-639-3811 and 870-639-3989 but ID # keeps changing.  ALPHAOMEGA NETW.  Reported them to the FCC today

They're criminals.   My phone number is on the National "Do Not Call List" but they called it anyway.   This is criminal.  Who would do business with a company who breaks the law?

Place an ad on Craigslist under FREE stuff. Then say "Moving Sale: Maid in America is moving its offices to a new location, and we're getting rid of old things at our office. Free desks, wall art, telephones, cleaning supplies, refrigerator, and some older computers. NO EMAILS! Telephone calls only. Please call 469-277-7276.

After a while, your ad will be flagged. If you want, you can hang up some BIG SIGNS in the ebonic speaking areas of your town, advertising rental homes for about $250 less than competitors. Call it "Made in America Rentals" so the company knows what your doing is retribution for them calling using an auto dialer.

Have been receiving one of these calls EVERY day for the last two weeks.  We are on the Do Not Call list but this number keeps getting through.  Why is that?  How can I put a stop to it?  

The "are your carpets dirty" people....  I received two messages at the same time/date from this company - one from 870-639-3973 and the other from 870-639-3143.  Then another call 5 days later from 870-639-3179.  Call back number is 469-277-7276.  Have received calls from them before so I have now left 2 messages on their call back number asking them to remove my number as I am on the Do Not Call List.  

I too,(or at least my mother's home phone) have had repeated pre-recorded voice, and a call back number of 269.  On the other hand, I do need the carpets cleaned. I did some deeper research and a local franchisee of Maid in America in my local area (Atlanta-Acworth). It's possible that Maid in America had it's number hijacked by phone scammers, but I suspect that, FCC complaints won't bother them, but a Better Business Bureau, or a DFW Chamber of Commerce complaint, might.

Maid in America is a home cleaning franchise with offices in several states. They use a spoof number and leave a pre-recorded message in your voice mailbox. I have tried calling the number left in the message, 469-277-7276, and it connects you to theur voice mailbox to leave a message. I, too,  have filed a complaint with the Do Not Call Registry. The only other thing you can do is to block their calls is:
1. Lift your receiver and wait until you hear your dial tone. Press *60.
2 Follow the voice prompts to add the first phone number you want blocked. Include the area code and seven-digit number even if you are adding a local phone number.
3 Listen for confirmation that the number has been successfully added and move on to the next phone number until all the numbers you want blocked are entered.

Carpet cleaning company.  Have received repeat robocalls in past several weeks.  Each call is both 1) a violation of the Do Not Call List, and 2) a violation on the restriction on robocalling.  I work in the telecom and call center industry and am well aware of the rules.  Ignored it once, but this is out of control now,

Filing a complaint the FCC is a good idea, but that can take years to get action.

The faster and more profitable way is to also file your own lawsuit against them in your local small claims court.  You can also google for attorneys that will file claims for you.  Every individual violation is a $500 penalty, which goes straight into your pocket if you file your own suit.  You can end up with judgments worth thousands of dollars.  I'll be beginning this action myself this week.

Google something like "sue telemarketers", and you'll find plenty of websites with instructions on how to do this.

The cleaning sales message came in on a spoofed number, 678-878-3891, but left this number as a callback. Amen on the fake testimonials above - what manner of moron would even consider doing business with someone so willing to break the law? Let them into your house? You betcha NOT!
