This number is The Windsor Group. I have no idea if they are a bank, collection agency, or telemarketer. They left a message for someone who had this number before me stating who they were.

Some BS collection company. Usual BS , threats, asking a ton of personal information
calls continually even when asked repeatly to stop. wrong person

I dont even try to tell them they got the wrong number cause the people they are looking for have long since moved outta here and no amount of collection agencies are going to bug me enough to give them free information...they even call my daughters hubbys ex-wife ...he's on his way back to prison in OK...and looking for her,probably in debt above the ears,I heard she likes sex,drugs and rock and roll in unlimited quantity (less rock & roll LOL).
                                              Hell I think every bottom feeder in the nation knows my number by heart...
                                              cause I got theirs in the blocker.

To stop this company and all collections call ask them for there address and fax number then send them a CEASE AND DESIST letter include you do not want anyone contacted. you don't have to give any names or numbers other than your own and your account number no SS#. Should they ask for your information under the fair act they must give you the name of the company collecting for

They are collection for CONN's the name alone gives the Company away.

This phone number keeps calling my cell phone, identifying themselves as Windsor Group. They are looking for someone with the same last name as my maiden name. I have no relatives with the name of the person they are looking for. I keep telling them that I have no idea who the person is or how they got my number as a contact. Today someone finally said they'd mark my number down as the wrong #. I asked her how she got my number and she hung up on me.

they seem to have the same MO for most calls -- they say it's urgent but not what it's about, and they mention a name that isn't correct. "we have urgent information to release on james smith" -- I think this is just to get you to call them back, so they can attack you with whatever it is they're selling

I don"t know how long they will keep calling ,but have bee calling me for two years. I have the same last name as the person they are looking for. It does no good to tell them that they just keep calling.

Not only did they call early in the am but they called back when I didn't answer.  I've already told them to go [***] themselves and they keep calling.

This number ((469) 484-5802)) has been calling my cell almost daily for weeks-even multiple times daily at times! I never answer #'s i dont know so they leave vm.

'Windsor Group' has 'beneficial information' to send me... (Um no thank you) they also say once you call back they will discontinue their calls (no i havent returned the call nor do i intend to)

Im on the do not call govt list and getting mad bc since they started calling 'telemarket' calls seem to be coming from every where!

I did some research too - THIS GROUP/COMPANY has been suied big time in past years. SO BEWARE

That is what they said to me, too. Actually I didn't pick up, they left a message saying they had "confidential information to release to my relative _______" and said a relative's name. Said to "Urgently call them back."  I realized this made no sense--I deal with confidential information all the time and this message made no sense so I didn't call them back. Will save the number to my phone as Spam. Thanks for the info here. I hate them for preying on our anxieties about relatives!

I save numbers like this one in my phone contacts so if they call again I recognize it and can push Ignore. At least I don't have to wonder who's calling.

Called as Windsor Equity left a message for someone not living here to call them.  After reading the previous posts, I'll put them on my call personal "Do Not Call" list.

A woman from this number called me and asked for my social security number. I refused to give it, so she said I could give her my address or birthday so she could be sure I was the "right person". I again refused, because common sense says you don't give personal info to someone who just calls and asks for it without telling you why. She said that I would keep getting these calls. I hope so, the FTC would be interested and I never really outgrew my love of phone trolling.
