Called near 10 a.m. EST, never saw the number before, did not answer. No message left. Erased.

The person is Mrs. Paris who claims to be an investigator she said she is calling in regards to a claim number and gives the numbers. Then she said to call her at 1-877-410-4517.
I am so sick of people taking advantage of other hard working people who are doing the right thing. People that try and get money from others by not doing anything but calling people. There judgment day will come!!!! And I can not wait!!! It is really sad when moms and dads have kids to take care of some of which are not in great health sometimes the parents are not in good health and for people to take advantage any way they can sickens me!!!

These so called adults!? Calling there victims, these vultures preying on innocent hard working Americans. Like I said judgement day will come and I hope to God that they bask in the heat, dust and rebel surrounding them and there post where they call from. Innocent children suffer because they never grew up and do not know any other way of life than to cheat lie and steal from others so they can make it.

I hope the suffering of the innocent stop and hell falls upon the people who are making this world a cheating, no good place to live in with untrusting people and there addictions!

We are people of God let us suffer no more!!! I pray again that those who do no good unto others bare down to the ground and crumble and be gone!!!

Does anyone watch Ghost Whisper? I hope these people are haunted for the rest of their lives, and all who have passed that know people who are being taken advantage of bare in the presence of the unknown and whisper these people away, where they belong. With the Devil himself, or purgatory for a long time so they may see the suffering they caused everyone in this world.

May the ground crumble around them and shake them down to the realization of the damage they have done.

I tried to shut this mouth

Received this call today about 35 mins. after I got a call from 281-558-7176.  A blog said this latter ph.no. is for Allied Data Corp., apparently it's a debt consolidation firm.  I didn't answer either one.  I'm hoping neither will call me again.
Anyone know if these 2 numbers are affiliated?

ok...so I get the same calls....someone saying they are an investigator blah blah.   I look up the number and find out they are a collection company....i guess i can call myself an investigator too ;)

oh well....

Got a call on my cell phone from this number about 10 minutes ago, ignored and they didn't leave voicemail.  Hate it when people call and don't leave a message.

A woman leaves a message saying:

"Mr. Hmmmmmmm, my name is investigator Barnes.  I'm calling you regarding a case that has been filed in my office.  Please return my call as soon as possible.  My number is 877-410-4517 (but the caller ID says 469-555-4806).  My extension is 225.  And refer to case # xxxxxx."
Sounds like she is dialing for dollars.

this is the "global investigating services" company number (877-410-4517)..
it is legit.. however, why they called me about an x-aunt's 2nd x husband's car loan, I'll never understand.
She took me off their list. it is a legit company.
call them back or you might regret it!!

I also received a call from this number (469) 555-4806
TX, USA by a Investigator Maria Martinez. She claimed that she
was not a "Bill Collector" and was calling in regards to a case filed
in her office. The violations which occurred in my situation is the following:
- A debt collection agency can only call between 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., unless you request to be contacted at other times; Debt collectors can’t make repeated calls over a short period of time.

Bottomline this is a Collection Agency hiding behind the title Global Investigators.

1. The number on the caller ID is a cover up, this is a tactic used by many companies.
2. Listen to the voicemail.
3. IT IS LEGIT
4. They called me trying to reach someone else.
5. My response to them was, are you going to tell me what this is about? Are you going to give me the details of your "so called case file"? They wanted to BS me, I cut them off, and said, "MAM, this is a straight up yes or no question. Which one is it going to be? Their answer, "NO, we can't disclose what teh case is about, we just need to reach the person."
6. My response, "Do not waste my time, if you are not going to fill me in on what this "case" is about then do  not bother me. If its not related to me, if it doesn't involve me, then do not bother me. You need to your job and contact the person directly, not trhough me or a third party!"

Called at 252 PM on Monday Aug 8 2011. She said she is an investigator and ask for my name with mis- pronouonciation. of the name.
I have absolutelly no credit debts, I have no loans etc.
This lady hung up the line when my wife ask her reasons and details of her call.

I called back 469 555 4806 These people has blocked such number from any incoming calls.
How any honest telephone company allow services to fake and fraudulent harassment "customers"?

i run a smog shop and the person called me asking me to look up a record from 2009 when i asked for her name and number she hesitated and told me should would call me and when i asked her name she said it was christia.  she has called twice in the last month.

This number belongs to a collections company in Garland, Texas and it's called Global Investigative Services. The "investigator" was looking for my step daughter's friends and tried to intimidate me by indicating to me that I'm a foreigner and probably tried to make it look like I had no rights in this country. He figured out I'm foreign cos of my accent. What this piece of crap didn't know is that I'm a business man and not an illegal hiding in the shadows.

They try to intimidate you into thinking that you are breaking the law and that he is some kind of Law Enforcement person..lol.  

Whenver you get a call from them, DO NOT surrender to their tactics.. Just tell him/her to leave you alone or else you will prosecute them. They won't tell you the name of their company or the direct number, but I found out.

The number 469-555-4806 belongs to Global Investigative Services and their general line is:  877-410-4517. I called the 877 number and spoke to the receptionist and told her to tell her "investigator" to stop calling me immediately. She put me through to a woman, probably a manger and I told her very strictly that next time she would be hearing from my lawyers. She wanted to know if I knew about the party they are looking for and I said that it's none of her business whether I knew them or not - Just stop contacting anyone in my household. That's it. You won't hear from them again cos they are breaking the law if they call you after you tell them not to call. I also printed out a letter and sent to their office address stating that they have no permission to contact me.

Here are the steps to deal with the caller if you get a call from 469-555-4806:

(1)  Call the 877-410-4517 and ask them to let you speak to a manager and warn the manager that you will take legal action against them if they don't stop calling your number.

(2) Type/Write a letter addressed to Global Investigative Services and tell them exactly what you told their manager. Here is the address:
