Didn't leave a message, caller is from Dallas, TX area

They've called me and let it ring 2 times and hang up! No message.

I noticed that I missed a call. They didn't leave a voice mail. (Texas area code and I live in AZ).

I've gotten a few calls from this number, I don't answer and I actually don't have voice mail.  If anyone legitimately needs me, they would know how to reach me, and they would know I don't have my cell phone when I'm on the floor at work.

Got two calls from them in the past month.  The first time I answered and they were seeking someone else.   The second time I did not pick up.   No voice mail left.  When calling back, you get a recording "This call may be monitored or recorded and it will be with a debt collector."

469-608-8899.  This is a scam. PORTFOLIO RECOVERY ASSOCIATION.  PO BOX 12914 Norfolk VA.  They have been contacting my cousin for over two years stating  he owes a debt to SWEPCO electric co in Shreveport LA.   After researching this co. they pray on elderly and mentally challenged people to scam money from them.  They cannot produce backup documentation and states that in order to removed from their calling list you have to send them a letter .  But they clearly tell you that your call is being recorded.   So when asked to not call they make sure to give bogus info.  Please report if u are called by this company. We are trying to get enough people so a class action law suit can be filed. Thank u

Missed call from this number. Just saw the # and thought to search it first. Seems there are others that have had missed calls from this #.

I got a call from them and this number, it is a fake number, they are running these calls through  computer thats not even theirs, you can add me to this  suit if you like,contact me at  agehapriest@gmail.com

I received a call from this number on August 5, 2014 at 121 stating that is a debt collector and being recorded they had my debt correct but some information was incorrect I was suspicious when they asked me for my checking account number and asked me  if I knew my account number by heart One person had made the call then left me on hold then another person ad answered with the name of Fabiola  I got suspicious so I said call me back at six since then I received a call at  4:08 then again at 5:12 I then researched thi number and found this information I got scammed once and I am not about to get scammed again

Get calls from this # several times a week, I dont answer unknown #'s. checked here a couple of weeks ago so I know its bs. They heve been blocked.

Got a call, no message, nothing.

I get phone calls from this telephone # 2 -3 times a day. I just dont pick up the phone after I read this web site.

They called me 8/6 and agin on 8/8, I did not answer the calls since I don't know the #. I have blocked them so now my phone won't even ring. I got my current cell number about 3 mo ago, so maybe somebody ows $ but its not me. Glad to find the info reported here. Thanks all.

I have a long list of blocked numbers from Portfolio Recovery Services.  I've never spoken to anyone and they've never left a message.  I have no debt for them to try to recover - and I've had calls appearing to be from several states and the D.C.  I can provide a list of many of their other numbers if that would help in a lawsuit against them.

The called me a few times I answer call and they call me by my name and I told them you have the wrong name please stop calling me. they say they will remove my number from there list. will see.

Several calls every day.  No message left.  Calls my cell number which is a newer #.  Annoying because I have to pay for the calls.

I just started getting calls from this number. I don't answer. Seems like there are a lot of complaints! Great.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago didn't pick up. I have a month to month no contract cell phone that doesn't have my name on it so the call must have been a scam.

This number calls me non stop! Thank god I'm not the only one. And those of u with an iPhone just block the number! Keeps them from harassing me.. Hope they do get a lawsuit against them!
