DirectBuy is a good deal.....BUT.....be warned ahead of time.......DON'T GO TO THE OPEN HOUSE SALES PITCH UNLESS YOU ARE FINANCIALLY READY TO BUY A $5,500 MEMBERSHIP BECAUSE YOU GET ONE CHANCE EVERY 7 YEARS TO JOIN.  I wish I knew this before I attended the open house sales pitch.  I really want to join eventually but I financially can't right now.  Now, because I attended the open house, I can't join for 7 years!!!  In their defense, they will finance the membership fee but you have to have that money on the day of the open house, I forget exactly the down payment amount but it is around $750.

calling many times during one day - leaving no message.   When I was filling out an online request for info, I changed my mind about submitting it.  Even though I never got to the end of the form to submit it, they captured my info anyway.  When I talked to someone from Direct Buy one of the first times they called, I told them that I had changed my mind, and did not submit the online form.  The guy said that it is set up to capture it anyway because if someone had computer issues and was not able to submit, it would capture the info.  Very strange!!

I get a missed call from this # daily. My number is on the DONOTCALL list, but I guess it may not work too well. I have not submitted anything to them so I don't know why they are calling me. Thanks for the info everyone!

I WAS going to go to the open house they can forget it now because of these damned calls.  They call every 2 hours every day.  I told them the first time I'll call you back when I receive the "packet" in the mail you promised providing more detail.  It's been 2 weeks and I haven't received the packet but they keep calling.  I'm about to get really ugly with them.

What a bunch of crooks. Anyone who falls for a sales pitch that you can only sign up now or can't join for years is an idiot. Who does business like that? It's a high pressure sales technique designed to appeal to someone's greed. We have been getting calls from them when someone in the family signed up for the sales presentation. Now we keep getting calls with no message left.  The Texas Attorney General will be after these guys soon enough. That will be my first call on Monday.

I keep getting calls from this number and I finally decided to call back. I have no idea why i'm getting calls from them. I never signed up for anything that even remotely relates to them!! :\

Direct Buy Coppell - Phone Scam - Do not give these people any information. Some thick accented scum bag told me I won a prize asking all kinds of personal info calling from phone num,ber 214-414-2737. Caller ID showed it was "Wa-Mart" I did a reverse lookup and this call came from "down in the Hood" land line in South Dallas. Beware

Oh darn! Now that I can't join for 7 years, I'm scarred for life.

I've received several calls from this number.  Tried to call back and was told my account balance was not sufficient to complete this call.   Sneaky sounding...

My story is the same as many above, these people are relentless!  I get about 3-4 calls a day everyday from them.  And I did not even finish filling out my email request.  I would never even consider doing business with them especially now after all the harrassing phone calls!  I even put them on my call blocker list and they have still managed a way to get through.  I am reporting them to the BBB, Channel 8 and anything else I can to report this scam of a business.

I have read all these posts; I can understand how some of you might be discouraged from doing business with these guys. I received a call from them too; I am going to the sales pitch tomorrow. I'll post back what happens after that, But it just blows me away to think that ANYONE can assert that a business is SCAM when according to your post you haven’t paid them anything and weren't promised anything which was subsequently Not delivered. What exactly is it you have been scammed out of. Furthermore what is it that you expect the Attorney General to do to protect you from these "big meanies". GROW UP and learn how to you use your right thumb to press the red button on your cell phone. If they had actually conned you into giving them money and subsequently failed to deliver some product or service you might have a real complaint, as it stands you are just a bunch of whiny little complainers who are never happy with any service and probably shop at Wal-Mart for all your needs because you are too cheap to pay what it costs to provide the level of service you say you want to get.

I get two to three calls a day some days more from these people.  No one talks nor do they leave a message.  I reported the number to the police.  I am as well on the DO NOT CALL LIST!  I have not filled out anything on the computer to direct buy or any where else.  These people are scams, beware.

This number is an Land Line number from Lewisville, Texas.  I looked it up.  So since I know no one from Lewisville, Tx, its a scam.  

Beware the 1-469-671-0600 is a scam and it is an land line number from Lewisville, Tx.  It is best if you receive a call from this number call the police and let them know that it is an land line and where it is calling from.

You know, you can buy a lot of furniture for $5,5000.  Unless you're planning to build a house, I can't see how a $5,500 membership fee on top of the cost of the stuff there can save you any money.

They called me yesterday. didn't answer because I was on my work line... Glad I googled the number!
