    Got a call at 10 am. I don't know anyone in Macon Georgia and they didn't leave a voice message so I assume it's a scam until proven otherwise.

    got a call from this number at 8.30 MST. said calling from credit card company(didn't identify which one) with an offer to reduce interest rate. asked to click 1 and connect with an operator. ended the call

    Yep!  Looks like they have a fresh number they're spoofing for this well-known credit card scam.  Adding to my list of blocked callers...

    Which reminds me - why does 800 notes *NOT* have an option of "scammer" for the "Call Type" pull-down menu???

    When I answered -- a recording said "i'm sorry, that extension is an invalid number" but I had not dialed anything.

    Got a message from this number offering lower interest rates to something.  Left no name, no name to that something, and said today was my last day to do anything.  In other words....SCAM!!!
