Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

Call but no live person on the line.  SCAM!!!  Just a third party collector trying get money from old debts that have been written off by original owners of the debt.  If you give them money, they keep it and DO NOT pay the original collector.

Halstead strikes again.  You'd think they'd be shut down by now.

This number has called my cell phone looking for a Nicolette somebody three times in the last week. About three years ago I started getting calls also looking for a Nicolette somebody. They also use the numbers:
216-554-2937
216-630- 5554.
I've blocked them from calling. The message is: If you're not Nicolette, please hang up.

I received a call from (480) 237-4907 at 3:36PM on 6/4/2015. I didn't recognize the number and did not answer. No message was left.

I have been receiving calls from this so-called business for a while now.  Now that I think of it, they started calling back in the fall and have now been calling every day.  I do not talk to them.  I hang up, but they still call and I'm tired of it.  They always ask for Tabitha Paige, but there is no one here by that name and I know no one by that name.  I am so sick of these vultures trying to prey on unsuspecting people, I could scream.

Received a call from this number, they hung up[ before I answered. I called them back and the phone was answered by Marian with Halstead Financial. Marian verified my phone number and stated that my number is listed for an Alan King. She asked if this was correct and I stated no. She said she would take his name off my number.

today the CID said "United Online"...no message and I didn't bother to waste any breathe on answering...sent to no-mo-robo

Caller id said United Online. I called back but it said the number is disconnected. Weird

Just received a call from this number, They were looking for myself but I've never heard of the company before nor would any debt collector of mine call from an Arizona number. Scam, scam,scam!! Im sure they work with the other multiple individuals that were calling before they were blocked also

This place calls and threatens us. I was a collector and they cannot threaten you. Nor are they supposednto call all day evey day.

This company is calling for another person.  I spoke to someone named Steven, he verified that this is a wrong number and removed my number from the system.
