I'm in Mass. My home phone rang and Caller ID reads "Cell Phone AZ" -- I answered and automated voice starts right away:  " Hi this is Rachel, regarding your credit card account (un-named card company), blah-blah, lower your credit card interest rate, blah-blah, consider this your final offer, press 9 to lower your rate...."

So I hung up.

I'm thinking "scam".

I had a call from this number earlier today. Caller ID says "Gilbert, AZ". I let it go to voicemail. No message left. I am also in MA.

Same here, I'm in MA and let the phone go to VM.  Nothing left.  So I tried calling from my cell phone and it gets a funny sounding signal instead of ring.  SCAM....  Also, did a reverse phone look up and it is from Gilbert AZ, three phone owners associated with it and I'll be darn to pay to see who it belongs to...

I am in KY. Phine rang, with this number and Gilbert, AZ as the location. I let it go to voice mail and I let ti go to voice mail while I did the search here for more information. This is a great resource and I appreciate the information posted here.

Yeh im in illinois and that # called me i let it go to voicemail and nothing was there tried to call back and got this funny beepin sound

Called at 4:40PM today. I allowed it to go to voice mail, left no message.

Just called me I am in TN it is a SCAM

I keep getting calls from this number and am on the "do not call" registry.  This takes up my minutes on unwanted calls!

They called me this afternoon.  Left no voice mail.  I am in NY.

I'm in TN. Call came at 1:45, no message left.

This number is being used for telemarketing.  The female that I spoke to told me that she was from Visa and tried to solicit my personal information so that she could give me a "credit card with the low interest rate of 13%."

I'm in Minnesota.  Let it go to VM - no message left.  Must be either scam or telemarketing.

ID was simply Cellular Call

Told me I won a 14 day Florida vacation.

I live in TN...just got the same called.  Offered to drop my rate to 6%.

They just called me, too.  I pressed 9, knowing it was a scam but interested in what story they were going to feed me because I work for a news organization in TN and thought it might make a good story.  The call went nowhere, and hungup.  I tried to call back and got the same funny busy signal.

I just received a call, but no voicemail with it.  I'm in San Diego

Called me at 1:00 pm straight up. I heard the ring from outside. No message. I am in Southern California.

Let it go to VM. I have a (901) area code. @ ~ 2:45
