Jones for Governor, invitation to Town Hall online meeting.

Caller ID says 480-343-8053 Cell Phone. Calls repeatedly, identifies herself as Christine Jones Republican Candidate Speaks very quickly, the messages are long winded and obnoxious. Have been forced to block the number and will make it a point NOT to vote for anyone that abuses the phone system in this way.

What you need to do is tell them you do not want to receive their calls, and make sure you do a opt out with all the political parties.  Then, if you receive calls, go that persons web site and under their contact us page, write them and tell them to place you on their internal dnc list and also there is a political do not call you can sign up for. I did and also tell them to use that list and give them the url for it. I have not gotten any calls for years now.  Not even political survey's.  So it does help to follow the steps.

The other thing that will help, if you have a cell phone, if it doesn't already have call blocking, there are free call blocking apps online you can get for some phones. If you have a land line, google call blocking devices. There are phones also available with call blocking but they do not hold as many numbers as devices do. Many of the devices run around 60.00

Calls from either Dean Edward @480-343-8053 or phone listed to Christine Jones.  A long winded robo call.  Not interested. Suspect these calls will increase.

Caller I.D. says Dean Edward, but is actually recording by Christine Jones, running for Governor of Arizona, with invitation to town hall, blah, blah, blah.  So, will the real Dean Edward stand up or is she spoofing his number????  Called the number and heard a recording re the political campaign for Christine Jones.   Robo Calls and the people who make them....AAARGH !!!!   Certainly won't get my vote :(

My wife and I have decided to not answer the house phone and leave all robo calls on answering service. according to our phone we now have 22 calls unanswered and 8 more to go and the phone won't even pick-up. We are dinosaurs with a land line we know however we use our mobile's for 99% of incoming and outgoing calls.

Luckily I use a VOIP provider that lets me blacklist as many numbers as I like.  This is a political call.  They called 3 times in 15 minutes.  I'm using this as a candidate filter - you robocall me, no vote, no exceptions.

The first time I received a call from this number and the Caller ID said Dean Edward, I picked it up to see who it might be.  A pre-recorded message immediately began playing from a woman running for Governor of Arizona.  I immediately hung up.  Since then, my phone has rang 11 more times from this number within two days.  Since I have caller ID, I now know who it is and to not answer.  

This number has been calling me several times a day for weeks. Also have calls from "Dean Edward" from another number (which presently escapes me), also some calls that pretend to be a survey but asks such weighted questions, a three year old could see through them. I know these calls are "legal" due to a convenient loophole stitched into the law by self-serving pols, but this is an absolute abuse of the system and I wouldn't vote for Christine Jones for dog catcher. In fact, our local dog catcher is far more suitable than she, because he has principles.

1) If you haven't received a political call in years, then why are you here?
2) Oh, you are trying to sell something on your website.

My caller ID says Dean Edward. Works for Christine Jones for governor. His name is actually Edward Dean. His personal phone number is (480) 247-7815. His address is 121 N California St, #30, Chandler, AZ 85225. He is an unemployed "pastor".  

Political call.. What ever happened to private lines?

Dean Edward calls several times a day. I suspected it was a political call and have not answered it. Thanks for confirming.

I agree. Obnoxious incessant phone calls.
Will not vote for her.

Sunday, Aug 17th:  480-343-8053 Dean Edwards, called at 12:53, 2:50 & both times it sounded like only one word on a machine.  While we were out, 4:31 maybe they thought their machine would talk to our machine.  Christine Jones recorded message that went on & on.  'SHE'  has called here from several other numbers.  They can't even give us a break on Sunday!?

Have received many calls and yes have seeing the number as well as Dean Edward on my caller ID.  I too am on the do not call registry.  Often wonder if I really would get more if I wasn't.  Seems I still get many unwanted calls.  

Jenn,  why don't you cancel your number from the DNC Registry and run a test for all of us.   It will take 30 days for them to remove your number and for all of the Legitimate Registered FTC Telemarketing businesses to get their updated list.
Then you could run the test for 90 days and keep track of the calls you get and see if there is a difference.  Many of us would like to know the results.  Of course keep in mind   that once your name is removed,   those who have been calling you,   scammers,  scofflaws, politicians,  charities,  informational,  religion, surveys,  etc  will continue to call just as they are currently doing.   BUT,   the gate is open for all of those good honest Businesses who are now legitimately honoring the DNC list will be legally free to call you in addition to the ones that you are currently getting.  Please run this test for us and let us know if we too can benefit by having our names removed.   Thanks..

Sorry, I volunteer to help out here and I don't have a website nor do I recommend any call blocker brands - the post is neutral in that aspect.  Why are you here, to complain and not do anything to help yourself?
