I am receiving telemarketing calls where they are telling me I have a credit card with them and they need more info, I do not and they are illegally soliciting personal info of mine, not sure what good posting this will do but hopefully someone will look into this scam.

They called and nobody would talk when I answered, just more people looking for easy prey, I guess my deep voice put them off feel sorry if it might be some poor old lady you call. Scammers, ignore them or give them something to think about!

Yep I just got the call too.. I didn't answer it but they've called a few times.. I'm like uhhh? AZ area code? Yeah it's bogus scammers

I got the call too, few seconds ago. They wouldn't say anything...
I think they have a list of numbers, and try to get people calling back.

Don't know who is pulling such scam, but I am in bereavement and pray to God that whoever it is is caught.  God Be With You.

I received a call from this number on my cell phone today, saying that I had a credit card with them and should talk to a representative about lowering my interest rate. It said to press "1" to speak with a live operator. Well I don't have a credit card with anyone but I was curious so I pressed "1". A guy came on and asked me my name. I ignored his question and just told him what the automated voice said and I explained that I don't have a credit card with anyone, and after that he hung up on me. I called the number back and it went straight to another automated voiceover saying that this person hasn't set up their voice mail account yet. Total scammers!!!

I just received a call a few seconds ago.  I didn't reconize the number so I didn't answer.  They never leave voicemail.  
I had a call from another number from another state a few weeks ago saying that I had won free Philly's tickets.  When asked how I won since I never enered a contest to win, they stated that my name was entered when I last purchased my tickets.  Total scam.  Never been to a game in my life.  Told them never to call me again.

I got a call from this number, saying they could lower my interest rate on my credit card. Well I dont have any credit cards so when prompted to press "1" to speak to an account agent i did, so i could tell them to stop calling me. The girl answered and I said "I dont know how you got my number but i dont have a credit card" She then groaned and hung up on me. I felt it was a scam, and wanted to report it. I really hope people dont believe this and give up information.

just got a call from that number... tried calling it back with no success... must be a scam but ive had my identity stolen before so i am worried...

I get calls from these people too, its total crap.

Try keeping them on hold for a few minutes, come back on the line and say something to keep them waiting, then put them on hold again and so forth. I did this to a telemarketer for almost 10 minutes. It kills their call productivity.

I just got a call on my cell phone from this number!  After reading this post, i called it back and i get a very fast busy signal.  thanks for the warning!  I wonder how they get the numbers in the first palce!

I received a call from this number earlier 7/19/10. I was sleep so i sent it straight to voicemail. I live no where near this area code so how did they get my number!

Got a call from this number today about 11:40 am eastern time. I did not answer because I did not know the number. I am glad I did not. I applied for a card last night so I may have gave them information if I had answered. Sooooooooo glad I didn't.

I am also from Tennessee.

Just got a missed call. I called back and got a message that their voicemail box had not been set up. I am waiting for them to call back so I can give them a piece of my mind! :-) (yelling at telemarketers is a great way to blow off steam)

they called me twice and would not pick up there call 3erd time answered they were selling lower interest rates on home rates.[***] them
