May be a bad scam phone call.

Got a call today from Brianna.  Says she would like to sign me up for a home based business.  Had me list to a recording about get Visa/MC/Discover/AMex transaction business.  She put her account exec on the line.  He explains that he works for a company call EFC which is supposed to be the an Electronics Fund Company that handles 70% of all credit card transaction.  They explain how I can get 1% of every transaction of the small businesses that I refer to the company.  The Acct Exec tries hard to sell me so-called business packages, by telling me I can make $2000-5000 a month part-time.    I proceeded to ask him if this so called company EFC had a web site so I can research the company legitimacy, he said "NO".   RED FLAG.  It was a SCAM TO GET MY CREDIT CARD INFO.  I then asked if I could have his name and a return phone number.  He then hung up on me.   I could hear children in the back ground.  BEWARE...Don't give these people your credit card information!   Call the FBI and report them for Credit card fraud.    I called back later that night and I got a voicemail of spanish woman, again with a lot of children in the background.  IT'S A SCAM.  I am reporting this to the FBI.  I HOPE THEY GET CAUGHT!!!

Got a call today. Have gotten alot of fishy calls this summer so I am screening them now. I didnt recognize the number, so I didn't answer the call. Since there was no message left on the answering service I decided to google the number. WOW!!! Looks like I dodged a bullet here. Thanks Elaine for the info.

Recived several calls from this number 480.389.1792 on all 3 cell phones! Rep was looking for a chris & then proceded to tell me i was liying and that i was this person... then kept saying i filled out info on the internet.. then told caller they were calling my business # and just kept on getting more verbale on the phone. Called local PD & found out nothing this may be a scam or a junk collection agencies for the past 3 hours they call & hang up or just talk trash or hold down the buttons so you can not say anything! who can we call or can you do somthing to them?????? they are tying up all 3 #

I've gotten 3 calls from this girl calling herself Brianna saying I filled out something on the Internet for a home based business. When I sy it isn't me wrong number, she says yes it is you broke. b***ch and hangs up. This has gone on too long and is annoying.Visa/mastercard home business is the scam.

I got a call from this lady today and I hung up as I thought she was trying to sell me something.  Then she calls back and leaves an insulting message telling me that it would be horrible if I was her counselor as it is indicated on my voicemail since I owe money.  I am glad to see that this is a scam because unlike this girl who has time to call others name and character attack, I pay all my bills on time and I am almost debt free.  What a horrible thing but i will be calling her back and letting her know what I think about her message.

Keep getting the same call over and over from the #480.389.1792 -- told them to put me on do not call list - he "John" said that I would have to shut my phone off as he would just keep calling - he called continuously for the next 10 minutes and was very rude.  I have reported the number and name, which they say is EFC as above - something to do with home based business for master card/visa.  Please -- contact FCC and report this if they are also bothering you.  Google - how to report unsolicited phone calls and it will tell you what you need to do.
