Got a hang up call with a 11 before the area code.  Made me think it was a call from Europe.  Most likely a telemarketer.

Non profit organization out of Mesa, Arizona that helps with credit card debt.  No fees and they check out with the BBB, no complaints.

something about a non-profit blah blah blah offering refinancing assistance blah blah blah.

I told them to remove my number im on the do not call list.

Im current on my mortgage and dont need their services.

I was rude to them though. This is the price they pay for the scammers out there. and they shouldnt be bothering me so that places them in the same category as the 'lower interest' criminals.

Caller ID looked weird to me.  I guess it was in  "robo-dialer" language  No message was left.

I answered - it was a robo cal - blah blah refinancing blah blah.

I hung up within 10 seconds - why did I wait so long?

This is not a legit "financial help center", if they were, they would not be robo or cold calling people as it is now against the law, it may be that "Rachel" and the gang are trying new tactics due to the help of 800notes and so many of us posting warnings as well as info. If you dont know by now, the cardinal rule is: Never give any of your private info over the phone to anyone, legit Banks and credit card companies do not call and ask for your SS# or CC#  therefore anyone that calls and asks for this info is most likely an ID thief

they called my house, when I answered a recording said they were calling to lower my credit cards interest rates, so I played along and hit 1. A guy came on the line and said they could lower my rate. I asked which card, he said my Citi MC and Visa (only have one, of the 2). I said to him I'll call the number on the back of my card and he hung up. Without a doubt, this was a scam to get my CC numbers

Try a tactic recommended in newspaper....do not even answer.  Robocalls want to know they've dialed a legit number.  Not answering takes self-control and it does get annoying, but nothing else has worked so far.  It's worth a try.

This was the first time getting a call from this phone number.  I was not home.  I am sick and tired of getting calls like this and calls that are for other people who owe bill collectors.

Some scummy so-called non-profit. Multiple hang up calls. Called back, left a voicemail not to call me again.

I called them back at their number and asked them to put me on the "do not call list".  A man answered when I called them (it sounded like a guy answering a home phone, just "hello") but he admitted that was the right number and they are a call center.  Hopefully this works!

Get several calls from this number.  Sounds hollow like it's from some other country.  Guy seemed to have an Indian accent.  Gave the phone to my husband who spoke Hindi with the guy.  The guy started talking obscenely to my husband, wanting to know the size of his appendage.  Totally appalling!!!

On my cell phone, if I hit the volume control, the ringing stops but the phone call doesn't get hung up on. Doesn't stop them from calling but at least I don't have to listen to the constant ringing.
