Never, Ever, buy anything, donate anything, give out any kind of information about yourself or your household over the phone!

480 4221247 is the March of Dimes.  John called me today.  I requested to be put on the do not call list ASAP.

The National do not call act of 2004 is so under enforced that it is worthless. NO, a solicitor cannot add your name/ number to the National DNCL.

The simple,  direct approach is best. Only when WE take the profit out of the annoying behavior, (phone calls), will the behavior (phone calls) disappear.
So don't EVER, buy, donate, confirm/provide any  information over the phone. This includes "surveys", political calls and charitable solicitation.
Just use your caller ID and NEVER ANSWER a call you don't recognize. This includes "unknown caller", "caller unavailable", etc.
As long as you keep answering & talking, they'll keep calling!
