Credit One Bank collections

This credit card company harasses you with 4 or 5 calls a day on a 30 day late payment.  VERY annoying!

Does anyone in this company speak proper english? Everyone you speak with has an india accent and no one understands. That's so annoying. I had to learn a  second language they need to learn a second language. It's mandatory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They will call from every state. If you block one they will just call from another state. So far Arizona south cCarolina Texas Minnesota Oklahoma I'm sure there are more but I can't remember right off. So yeahbtime to pay that bill.

this ph# started calling incessantly every day this week. comes across as IQOR USA. can't understand why calling my landline ph#. I am not past due on my card which is not Bank ONE. whatever? I just don't answer and my a/m is turned off.

Multiple calls per day to dead air.  Obviously a scam or debt collector.  Reported every time (six times per day at one point).

Number has called me 8 times in one day but when I answer no one says anything it just hangs up

They call all day long and the bill was only due on the 7th not even a month behind and they blow your phone up Credit one Bank.    I think they have several numbers

Call at least 7 times a day and at all hours of the night. Received a call at 2:30 am, 3:00, 4:30, and so on.

I have to wonder why an allegedly “legitimate” business would need so many different numbers to call people from.

All in all this seems extremely suspect, having so many business names, and so many violations of the FDCPA.
Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

They are calling me 10 times a day. I do have an acct. With them, but my account clearly states my payment is not due until 11/5. In fact I will pay them off. Want to cancel the card but I'm scared it will hurt my credit.

What busymom is experiencing is under debt collection tactics called "reminder / courtesy" calls. Used by major financial institutions / lenders / mortgage and credit card servicers using their "associates, affiliates, and subsidiaries."  These calls are used to harass, abuse, and exploit consumers. You treat them just like any other predatory debt collection network by sending a "Cease and Desist" to the primary "credit one bank" / mastercard / visa and include all "associates, affiliates, and subsidiaries." Credit One Bank  would use others besides iQor. Also complaints to the CFPB and other state and federal consumer protection agencies wouldn't hurt!

I have blocked them as well it it's fine for several hours then they change numbers and start all over...it's completely crazy

Same hung with me! I picked up and thy hung up...after try called five times earlier!

Tired of them trying to sell something. Like they need to get a real hobby.
